7.5/10The place seems very nice, and the team was professional and well intentioned but the service was slow. We got a cheese and meat platter, and it was really nicely presented The cheese counter is great, a bit on the pricey side but really nice quality.

3.5/10Arrived with high expectations as had been looking for a reason to try the restaurant for a few months. After a wait (at least 10 minutes) our order was taken and we were warned that the raclette would take 30-35minutes. We agreed to the wait and explained were off to the theatre so we’re under a level of time pressures. Our drinks were served with an introduction to each champagne which was appreciated. After 30 minutes we asked for an update and were told another 5-10 minutes. When our dishes finally arrived, 50 minutes after being given the menu, the roast potatoes were hard and significantly under cooked. Although the other flavours were good the dish was barely edible and so disappointing after such a long wait. The manager was very apologetic and removed the raclettes and roast potatoes from our bill. This was appreciated but we left very disappointed, maybe we had too higher expectations but we wouldn’t return.

4/10Cute little restaurant with good selection of Champagne. Ordered fondue for 2 and received a portion for 1 person and a very high price. Just not worth it.

4.5/10I have been to the restaurant, on a number of occasions, the one in Greenwich too, and have rated both highly; the food, service and ambience. However, my most recent experience left me, and my party, feeling disappointed. The food was pretty bland, whereas previously I have been asked what kind of cheese I like, this time I was not. The cheese we were served was pretty tasteless. We were celebrating my sisters 50th, a group of 7 and were ushered into a room downstairs, it didn’t provide any ambience, I much prefer the main restaurant. The lady that served us was lovely, unfortunately the platters that we ordered did not come out at the same time which meant one half of the table had eaten theirs before the other half had received theirs. The initial platter was very small, it wasn’t as substantial as the 2nd and not enough food so we had to order another. No bread was served with the first platter either. A shame as I have always rated Champagne & Fromage.

For larger groups, such as your party of 7, we do have to accommodate guests in our downstairs tasting room, as our bistro area can only seat a maximum of 22 guests with tables for 4-5 people. We understand that this space may not have offered the same ambiance as the main restaurant, and impacted your experience. We also regret that the food did not meet your expectations, and that the platters were not served in a timely or consistent manner. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We will review the quality of the cheese served and ensure that future orders are more substantial and better coordinated. 4.5/10I had a cheese afternoon tea, gentleman serving very friendly. No milk for tea or coffee. Offred a soft drink thought i was going to get a tasty fruit juice and received a disgusting cordial tasted like vinto very disappointing. Cheese platter was very sparce. Cheese were delicious but not value for money. Have been to hundred of afternoon teas not been disappointed by the portion size. This left me feeling hungry and very disappointed

8/10Have been here a few times now, and always in enjoy it. It is a treat option, and the staff know their champagnes and food plates very well. My only comment would be that whilst I understand the champagne focus, I would probably return more if there was a small selection of white and red wines to move onto, whilst finishing the quality cheese board. But still love it and will be back.

2/10menu & food was terrible, really gone down hill from when we used to go regularly a few years ago. Customer service also lacking, no one really attending to see everything is ok, not the most comfy seats & table either, defo not baby friendly

10/10I absolutely love this place ! Recently was my first time back to London since 2016 and I made sure to make a reservation to have dinner here on my first day back. It is just as delightful as I remember it. The wine is really good and the cheese dishes are interesting and delicious. Wait staff was great and friendly! Francesca our waitress was a delight. I highly recommend this place :)

10/10We wizzed into eat pre theatre. Shared a delicious platter of cheeses, meat and chutneys including cherries and thyme. Glass of champagne each and we were set for Plaza Suite. Love returning here and have never been disappointed.

10/10What a great place ! Tiny but perfect. The afternoon tea with champagne was excellent, the hosts are very knowledgeable about the cheese and champagne, and worked to ensure we had particular cheese and champagne flavours that we liked. Portions looked a bit small initially but were totally sufficient in the end . Really enjoyed the experience, would recommend

6/10The food and champagne was very good. However the service let down the experience. No smile. No knowledge of the food or what was served. I was hoping to recommend this place to my friends, because of the service i will not now.

6.5/10Lovely cheese selection at not outrageous prices, the raclette was just melted cheese on potatoes - no pageantry - but it was delish, and all the little sauces and jams with the cheese were a treat. I assume, if you're going, you love cheese so I'll leave you to judge that, I'm no expert. The service was less thrilling, getting broadly ignored when we got in and barely a word spoken to us for the entire trip, until both a service charge and a "hospitality extra" appeared on our bill. Maybe it's more authentic that way but a being at least welcomed when we arrived would've been nice.

2/10They did not let us order more food despite being open for longer and the fact that the food did not require cooking (ie bring out some olives or charcuterie)

Regarding kitchen opening hours, we do close the kitchen 1 hour before the closing time of our restaurant (10PM on Fridays and Saturdays), and do a last call for food orders 10 minutes before that original closing of the kitchen time.
