Chessington World of Adventure Resort - Zafari Bar & Grill

The food and service was wonderful, our server in the evening, Grace, was so friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are fabulous, our kids have big appetites and even they couldn’t finish it all. Breakfast was fantastic too, a wonderful selection!

Last visit here the staff were rushed off their feet but food was good so visited again in September after doing the giraffe feed experience. Seating took a while as people attempt to get in without a reservation but service was very good and food was plentiful and yummy! My daughter ate everything including the hummus and then macaroni and cheese. My partner and I had burgers which were very good and worth the money. Dessert was the Eton mess and a ginger sponge. Again both incredibly good. Our daughter couldn’t finish her gruffalo crumble as it was huge. Great meal, nice environment. Would love a table by the window but never get one and to be fair once it’s dark out is doesn’t matter!

Lovely hotel,restaurant and staff. We were visiting for my 50th birthday. I ordered a steak priced at £21.50 unfortunately it was of very poor quality. Other meals for other familywere just average. When you charge the prices you charge the food should be of better quality. For dessert I ordered the cheese platter again failing way below my expectations only had 3 cheeses, a cheddar, double Gloucester and bree that was spilt into small chunks to make it look more cheese!!! Also my wife delivered a birthday cake for me, the design was a surprise but waiting staff had to ask her what was on the cake hence spoiling the surprise. In addition I ask for an Irish coffee to end my meal, the waitress took my order but returned 10 mins later to say they did not do them!!!!!!! As i as the hotel and restaurant look fantastic but more care should be spent surrounding the food they offer to increase its standard.
