10/10Great freshly cooked food, friendly and attentive staff with a good atmosphere. Went on a match day at Cardiff stadium and it was very busy, glad I had booked a table. We had to wait a while for our food, but it was worth waiting for. Would definitely recommend.

10/10We love eating here. The service is amazing and the food is always top draw. My 2 girls who are 9 and 11 always say how much they enjoy it too. 10 out of 10 from me.

8/10The food was good, as always. A rather long wait from drinks to main courses being brought out. However there were seven of us and the restaurant was full. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and we will come back again.

10/10On arrival staff were friendly, showed us to our table. Left menu, returned a few minutes later to take drinks order. Took our order quickly and efficiently. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

10/10Our server, whose name was Precious, was an absolute delight. She paid us the exact amount of attention, and we were never left wanting. We highly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant.

5/10The meal was quite expensive for what I received (penne pasta and Italian garlic bread was £25+. I was clear on the price when ordering but was expecting a nicer meal as a result. No salt and pepper on the table, but waitress did offer Parmesan. Our overall bill was over £70 for 2 adult and 2 kids Meals, plus drinks. There were no toilets in the restaurant and my friend had to take her 2 kids to the nearest loo (the public space in st David’s). Staff very friendly and nice, but the food itself was well overpriced and clearly it’s not the best Italian restaurant in Cardiff! I went as it was my friend’s choice, having seen good ratings on trip advisor but don’t believe the hype! The manager of the restaurant had told staff, who told us, if we submitted a good review on trip advisor they (the staff) would get a payment for each one! Probably explains all the good (false!) ratings on TA! Won’t be returning. For me £25 is a lot of money and I barely eat out.

10/10Great service from start to finish, we were running late due to late running hospital appointment and they were so understanding and kept the table for us (a week before Christmas so very busy). The food was delicious and our server Precious was fantastic and really friendly (kids loved her) One of our favourite places in Cardiff to eat and also accessible for wheelchair user

10/10Outstanding food from an independent restaurant. We went for my daughters birthday and they made her feel special, talking to her & singing to her when they brought out her cake. And it was excellent value too. We are always impressed by the food and staff here!

9.5/10Lovely food here, the tables and chairs are a bit basic but the food made up for that. It's a restaurant that is surrounded by other food establishments and shops. Convenient for shoppers. Not what I would call cosy but like I said good food. We will be back.

9/10The food and the service were top class, but it's a shame it's in a shopping mall. I can get passed this one minus and would definitely consider visiting again. The previous reviews encouraged me to take the chance on Ciliegino and I hope my review will persuade others also. It's worth it if only for a dish called 'Cardiff Sauce'... which by the way was delicious.

2/10Turned up for a 3pm booking at 14.55 and told there would be a 20 minute wait for food . Not acceptable as we had booked a table Whilst we waited in the queue Walk ins were being seated
