10/10We really liked the welcome we got, the staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Was a pleasure to speak with them. Luis in particular looked after us very well. Will definitely want to come back again, hope the restaurant maintains the same high standard!

6.5/10Definately not a Michelin star, neither service, nor food, nor general ambiente. Ok restaurant with a nice view. Apart from the fact that we had a totally drunken neighbor and reaction of staff was not consequent and fast enough there was nothing to write home about! Would not give it a second chance.

6.5/10Of course the view is spectacular and you're paying the premium for it. It was a lovely view. Service was Michelin level excellent and the wine was expansive as expected. Cocktails were refreshing with unexpected twists. Food was where we felt let down. Starters: Devon crab with Asian inspired flavors was light, airy, and pleasing to the palate. The Rabbit Ballantine was poorly executed with a rubbery, can't-cut-it-with-our-knives wrapping and coco beans so undercooked we decided not to eat them. Main: We ordered the côte de bœuf for 2. The beef itself was delicious and cooked just right leaving us with both lovely medium-rare steak and crispy fat edges. But the chips were far from the Michelin level chips you can get at, say, Dinner or Bibendum Oyster Bar. Both the béarnaise and peppercorn sauce were off on their texture with flavors that overpowered the beef, which is quite a feat. And the accompanying salad was Instagram cute, but actually impossible to eat without dumping them out and spending a couple minutes chopping it up so you can put a bite on your fork instead of an entire huge leaf. Perhaps we could have ordered better, but really, everything on the menu should be executed at the level the view—and price tag—warrants.

The buzz from the bar is the first thing you notice at Jason Atherton’s handsome restaurant on the 24th floor of Tower 42. Dark and moody, with a subtle art deco twist, it boasts impressive views of the City skyline. The concise menu offers unadulterated dishes with a British heart and, while the kitchen has a deft touch, acknowledges its customer base by making dishes robust in flavour and generous in size – this is elegant, refined but satisfying cooking. The Josper-cooked meats are a hit, and the wines are also noteworthy, with a good mix of styles and prices.
