A lovely old pub with a cosy atmosphere. Felt it was somewhat over priced for the size of the portions. Upon going through the bill when we what got home found we had been charged £4.50 for olives that we assumed were complimentary as we didn't order them. We arent overally fussed about olives so only about 4 were eaten anyway. Considering our bill for 4 was £200 this left a nasty taste.

I will travel far & wide for good, varied, and stylish food in a pleasant, warm, well-designed, and welcoming place. The Coach & Horses, Compton more than ever (we go there a lot) fits the bill. Keira & Alastair are great hosts, work hard and deliver a great service, all round. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a standard well above normal ‘pub grub’ served at v reasonable prices…..love this place - Guy Lubbock
