Comendador Silva - Lisboa

Nice restaurant and the food that we tried (octopus and cod) was really good. Excessive charge for the bread and butter (5€). Unexplainable the restaurant was empty on a Friday night so we had a quite night.

The food was surprising as it was typical Portuguese flavors but brought to a gastronomy level with a really interesting approach. The crew was really kind and paid extra attention to our desires and needs, it was a really pleasant moment.

The worst restaurant in Lisbon! Really bad. I set and after long wait I had to ask 3 times for some bread, then I waited 75 minutes without receiving my main dish. When I told the waiter that I couldn't wait more he told me that my order was passed to the kitchen only 5 minutes earlier. At this point I decided to pay and leave. When I go to the counter to pay they didn't make me the 30% discount as stated on The Fork, I argued and he make me some 20%. Very disappointed I paid and left. p.s. food, for what I tasted was very bad too.

Excellent restaurant. Very peaceful atmosphere, very convenient to relax and chat. Tasty typical Portugese meals. And waitresses are very nice. Strongly recommended.

Elegant restaurant with very attentive service. Traditional Portuguese cuisine but revisited in a modern key. compliments. Great for romantic dinner.

Excellent restaurant et service, de la grande cuisine portugaise

Outstanding at every level! We recently dined in this fine dining establishment and were utterly impressed! From the minute, we entered the beautiful dining venue we were treated to a world class experience. Each course was an exciting adventure and the wines which accompany the food were superb. We have never experienced this high class sensational food experience at this price level before. If you want a very special experience this is the place to go and it deserves more than the five stars which is the maximum, we are permitted to score and it is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. We are so thankful to the staff at Comendador Silva for giving us this amazing experience which will stay in our memory forever.

The food is delicios...the service as well. The ambiance could be better if the two tv sets had at least been broadcasting some classy video other than the same grand openning video of the venue itself over and over...still strongly recommended for its wonderful cusine...

Although the rack lamb combination with the beans pours was a nice combination, the lamb it self was a dry, giving the impression of a plate reheated.

Great new restaurant. The food was really inventive and flavorful. The wines were great and the desserts were lovely. A subdued, minimalist but extremely relaxing atmosphere. Loved it and we will be back!

It was a normal quality steak. Nothing special. I was expecting a better one.
