2.5/10We visited the restaurant some time ago and really enjoyed the ambience, the menu and the staff interaction. Unfortunately our recent visit was very different, which was embarrassing for us as we had visited with friends and highly recommended the restaurant. The menu was very limited and was so overpriced. The staff were reliable on the whole but the manager was quite rude and confrontational, which was not expected. All in all, very disappointing, have no intention to return and would probably avoid Fork establishments in the future.

9.5/10Excellent value for money. We had a Groupon voucher which limited the choice but the portion size and quality was excellent. Can definitely recommend the fish and chips!! Excellent service also

3/10We were given a menu for £30 afternoon tea which we were expecting, then this was taken away and a £35 menu with Prosecco was given to us which we did not want. The service was very slow although there was hardly anyone in. The food was ok but I’ve had better for much less money. The music kept turning on and off and no one came to offer us more tea

8/10We all enjoyed our meal however we were not aware we had to pay by card which made it difficult for the waiter who had to deal with 9 different amounts to pay.

8.5/10The restaurant was nice, but on the chilly side, definitely could’ve been cosier. The menu was varied and it was nice that they served local produce. When the food arrived, it was piping hot and tasty. Would like to mention Patrick who attended to us, he was super friendly and attentive, a real asset to the team

6/10The Sunday lunch food has clearly been scaled back as a cost saving exercise. This is a shame - it used to be lovely and was a regular choice for us as a family.

4/10I will try to be fair here but unfortunately they had a disastrous night for not just all, but quite a few of the other customers. Only 6 of us in the restaurant when we first turned up. No questions re allergies, no real customer service and seated in a booth, so seemed to be forgotten about. Had to request a drinks menu and then wait 30 mins for some tap water. 65 mins after sitting down we eventually got our starters which were nice. 30 mins later we got our mains (all had pie) which I’m afraid to say were not. Inedible chips, bland lifeless pie and surprise al dente carrots ( menu stated peas). The staff did listen to our complaint and all were very apologetic. One strange thing with the waiter was that he wanted to taste one of the chips we complained about and so ate one off our plate at the table! We made friends with others who arrived at the restaurant as they also waited 90mins for their meals and also had to send back as cold. I just hope this isn’t indicative of every day

10/10We were stopping at the hotel before we went to the Emmerdale tour. We booked the restaurant for the evening meal and were really impressed. The staff were lovely, really polite. We were served quickly and the food was very good. Prices were what you would expect from a hotel restaurant but we think the quality was very good so worth paying the extra.

6.5/10Ambience was good, our server was polite, however not knowledgeable regarding the menu choices i.e soup of the day, pie of the day, and the pasta of the day. We had the pie and burger, the bottom of the pie was as hard as rock and could not be cut, I asked for my burger without cheese and bacon and it came with cheese, the beef patties were tasteless. Overall we were disappointed in our dining experience.

6.5/10Around this time last year, we enjoyed a lovely meal at Convive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of our meal this year. The restaurant is comfortable with a pleasant ambience and the staff were lovely. The menu, however, was more limited and the food, when it eventually arrived after almost an hour, was very substandard. We would be reluctant to eat here again without a serious improvement.

5/10First impressions not great, desperately in need of some TLC, served a prawn cocktail without any prawns, called a waiter didn’t take away the just said I’ll find out what’s happening, my wife had soup which obviously she needed to continue to eat, the waiter brought my fresh prawn cocktail after around 5 minutes still not taking away the first one. Main coarse came really below average for a so called 4 star hotel more like a pub chain meal.

10/10Myself and my Mum came for a weekend away and wanted to treat ourselves to a fancy meal and wow this ticked all the boxes. The dinner was perfect. Food was stunning and the cocktails were delicious. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The new manager was so lovely and really professional!

7/10The Restaurant is a bar as well and there are no signs to indicate were the bar que is or the Restaurant que is. There didn't seem enough staff to deal with the que, which then delayed been shown to a table. A 3 course Sunday Lunch was booked on line for £19.95, but we were given two different menus, one with the drinks on had the menu for £19.95 and the other with the cist of £24.95, I explained we had booked the £19.95 but was told that that menu was the old one even thought we were give this menu. It was a little confusing as the cheaper menu should have been removed.

10/10We had a lovely dinner at the Convive while staying at Weetwood. We had the fish and chips, which was a very generous portion and the batter was some of the best we’d ever had! Service was friendly and efficient too, it was quiet but this added to the relaxed feel.

7/10The food was really good, unfortunately this was let down the extremely slow service. The staff themselves were very friendly but the actual waiting time between courses was extremely long.

4/10We ordered afternoon tea and the service was poor and for the price we were paying for it and the service. The bread was very dry on the sandwiches but the cakes and the sausage roll were delicious. If this could be improved and the service better upon arrival and the bread be fresh on the sandwiches then we may return again.
