9.5/10Great food and rum punch. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Saw some Google reviews criticising the service, but it was honestly one of the best hospitality I've had at a London restaurant in ages. The pace is very relaxed, but that does suit the nature of the cuisine and heritage. A wonderful place to dine and catch up with friends.

10/10Made use of both the 50% off food and their 2-4-1 offer on drinks prior to 7pm Sunday - Monday with the total bill coming to £25 per head. Food was really solid - Mac and cheese side and rice n peas were delicious. Cocktails came out quickly and service was very attentive. Looking forward to coming here regularly.

10/10Had an amazing time, The food was absolutely delicious and the waiters so friendly! We had a good laufh, shared stories with one of the staff and he surprised us with shots for my boyfriends birthday, which was a nice touch! Would recommend!

9/10Waiter, exceptional!!! Food was very good too, personal preference is a tad more scotch bonnet paper in the jerk sauce. Can forgive the them for replacing the goat with mutton as the flavour was amazing definitely one of the best I had.

10/10Shaka was so welcoming. The vibe is fantastic. I had the Veggie Brown Stew, callaloo and dumplings. it was delicious. my friends had the jerk platter ribs, salt fish dumplings, sizzling prawns and the buttermilk burger. They all said their food was amazing.

9/10Salt cod fritters came with a spicy chutney. Boston jerk pork had a mix of ribs, lean meat and fat. Worked well with a strawberry cider. No space for dessert!

10/10Went to celebrate my wife's fathers heavenly birthday and the food was excellent. Every dish came out at to us at the same time. Our rum punches were excellent and Alex made a special cocktail especially for my wife, after she had mentioned about her dad. He brought us some shots in memory of him. One of the best caribbean restaurants we have been to. It had been recommended to us by friends, although we had one closer to us in Shoreditch. We will be definetely be going back there again soon. Thank you to Alex and his staff.

10/10Cottons was recommended to us as a genuine Caribbean restaurant. The food was amazing from the starters to dessert. The vegan options were delicious and plentiful and then to top it all there was live music! We will certainly visit Cottons again.

10/10A very good Caribbean restaurant with what looked and felt like a more contemporary approach to its cuisine and decor. Very nicely kitted out. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We had a nice and comfortable front window table. It wasn’t too busy, I guess because of it being a Monday evening. We started with a pretty potent Reggae Rum Punch which certainly hit the spot, and was very refreshing on what was a very warm night. Easy to want to knock it back as it’s very fruity. Plus it was within Happy Hour, which ended at 7pm. The food also hit the spot. We had the the two fritter starters on offer. It was the first time we’d seen them in large ball-like shapes. I had a bit more of a leaning towards the Salt Cod Fritters, but they all were satisfying and were accompanied with tasty tangy sauces. The mains were on point. The Mixed Jerk Meat Grill Platter was the business. I don’t normally eat red meat, but this looked too tempting on paper and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It had a very nice straight from the bbq taste to it. My friend thoroughly enjoyed their Jerk Marinated Salmon dish which interestingly was accompanied with sweet potato, pumpkin, callaloo and green beans. Turn up with an empty stomach. We couldn’t even entertain the thought of having dessert. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and I must say that the music selections were uplifting throughout the night. Highly recommended!

10/10One of our best meals out for a long time. Conveniently located close to Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the weekend there is a good value Bottomless Brunch. Staff are attentive and extremely helpful. We enjoyed each of our 3 courses. Drinks were topped up regularly. This Branch was most fortunate to have Rabindra in charge. An excellent manager who is normally based in Notting Hill. We will not hesitate to return
