10/10My friends and I had an enjoyable, relaxing dining experience at Cottons Notting Hill. The menu has something for everyone and is wonderful, authentic Caribbean cuisine. The music and decor transport you to a tropical island, helped by the delightful cocktails. Staff friendly and helpful, great service too. A return visit definitely on the cards.

5/10The food was ok but it took such a long time most of it was cold. The staff were nice but 2 items left off our order. We were late for our next event and the table was originally booked at 7pm. The staff told us they were both new so with only 3 serving that would explain delays.

Service staff (especially Anthony) were great fun, music a little loud but I’m old and boring. Food good, even at full price still good value. Had the jerk roast and it was delicious 👌🏻

10/10Cottons has an excellent Caribbean menu - and vibe in their restaurants. The jerk chicken had exactly the right amount of heat and spice and the portions are generous. Friendly and efficient service without being rushed.

9/10This is hands down our favourite Caribbean restaurant! The food is authentic and delicious, with great attention to presentation and high-quality ingredients. Portions are generous and offer great value for money. The service was excellent—staff were patient, knowledgeable, and happy to advise on the menu. Special mention to the bartender for crafting some outstanding cocktails! That said, a couple of menu items weren’t available, which was a bit surprising given that it was still quite early in the evening. However, this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true taste of the Caribbean!

we got there they said they didn't have my booking but my friend was told that the table next to there's was mine. I showed him the reservation and he took pictures of it considering i booked 3 weeks in advance I found the manager quite rude he bearly spoke to us even when we asked questions had very poor customer service skills I really felt bad for the other staff as they was very nice and polite and tried there best to make up for the managers poor attitude. the food was nice asked the manager for ketchup he passed us about 3 times and had to ask another staff member for it after 10 minutes waiting. apart from that it was a nice evening out with my family.

Restaurant is nice food and drink nice only downfall for me was the manager he has no manners for customer be honest seems he don't even want to be there,when I talk to him he has a blunt reply and not friendly to talk to,my whole tables food was brought out except mines I spoke to him and he ignored me.i had a bad experience with my family on this occasion hopefully he's not there if I choose to come back.

3.5/10I made a table reservation via the for app for 19:30 I arrived 5 mins late, I did try and call but the telephone no. Provided was not answering. It was my first time going to Cottons so I had no expectations of what the food would be like. I ordered a child’s meal for my 2year old daughter. The fried chicken strips were extremely hot freshly fried but the macaroni was cold. I order the squid starter which was amazing, so good I asked for another serving. The main disappointment of the evening was that it wasn’t until 20:45 our main meals arrived. I order the jerk grill platter, the meat was so smothered with sauce I couldn’t identify what was the pork chicken or lamb. When we arrived we were one of the only table occupants in the restaurant. Three groups of individuals came after us ordered after us and still received their food before us. It was a real shame as I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere of the restaurant but the waiting staff and food was a huge disappointment.

8/10Compact and cosy restaurant, compared to the other branches. But great space for meeting up with a group of friends as the ambience is great and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is not bad. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend.

Pretty decoration, nice music - unfortunately we were sat on a table.just by the kitchen entrance and so we could all their talk. Waiter was also a bit distracted and we had to order our drinks twice as he had forgotten even though he was constantly walking past us. Really nice food, be ready for the spice!

10/10Best service ever! The gentleman at the front desk was courteous, accommodating and utterly charming, we arrived late for our booking but he endeavoured to seat us as soon as he could. The good was amazing as usual and even though it was busy the staff were attentive, the barman made our drinks with precision

10/10We had the seafood platter for 2 and it was absolutely delicious! Very big portion, diverse selection, and excellent flavours. We also had half a jerk chicken, it was impossible to finish it so we took it home as the staff was happy to provide a takeaway box. We can't wait to go back!

7/10I went with a friend at 3pm on Saturday. The place was so busy! It appeared that there was only a couple of staff members working a full restaurant. They seemed completely overwhelmed and were turning away everyone that didn't have a booking. We had to wait 20 minutes before getting seated, we just sat ourselves in the end. Another 20 minutes before our order was taken after I stood up to get attention. And over another hour before our mains were served. Someone forgot and again, we had to remind them. We arrived at 1500 and left at 1715, that was a far too long dining experience for what it is. We were in a chill mood so it didn't ruin it for us, but we did lose a lot of time. The staff were friendly enough when you could get their attention. The food was nice. Loved the trio of fritters and the seafood platter is generous for the price. They are working with some good flavours. Tip, if you are not going for bottomless brunch and don't have all the time in the world to sit there, dine after 5pm when the place quietens down a bit. It was very noisy over brunch, I liked it. I would have appreciated being offered a complimentary drink or money taken off the bill for such slow service.
