4.5/10We arrived at 9am. Felt we were bothering people. I got served a microwaved food and we had to leave for 10pm. This is not right to allow 9pm reservation and feel that unwelcomed. Unable to order a dessert for a birthday. Not a single nice word. My friend that is deaf had not a single smile or kind attitude from the staff. I leave closeby but I know now that I will never go back. My halloumi burger was extra thin and I had to look for the halloumi. Very disapointing.

6/10mutton and rice was good the chicken was not jerk and the oxtail was tough as it was not falling off the bone, a bit disappointing unfortunately.

8/10A good experience, definitely had a Caribbean feel to it. Had a couple issues with items not coming out on time and my rice was cold but the staff did their best to resolve any issues quickly and never had a bad attitude. Everyone was helpful. The food and drinks was good too

8.5/10The curry mutton was incredible and portioning was so generous! It was on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was quite quiet. Venue is beautiful and right along the bank. My boyfriend and I both ordered a starter - jerk chicken spring roll and salt cod fritters. They were okay but the curry mutton was really start of the show. Waiter forgot to place my sweet potato fries order and it came at the end after we had finished the food.

6/10The food was horrible. Parts of the food was warm and parts cold. The food was not authentic. The jerk chicken was covered in thick black tar like sauce. Informed that It was jerk sauce - it was awful - did not taste like authentic Caribbean food. The waiter was very nice and gave us a small discount but to be honest it should have been free because we never ate most of it. I wouldn’t recommend Cottons - l believe it has been taken over by a completely new management. They need to review their menu.

6.5/10There should have more vegetarian options - and I have a allergic reaction to rapeseed oil - which every thing was fried in. The staff were friendly but just needed more to help out. Great with birthdays.

8.5/10Food was excellent - as usual. The sizzling shrimps and fish seafood kebabs are highly recommended. Rochelle was lovely. The only problem was the loud music, which made it difficult to hold a conversation.

8/10We've been to Cottons Vauxhall before and this was our second visit as it was my husband's birthday. I found the meal delicious but unfortunately my husband didn't enjoy his choice of meal because it was too spicy. He went for a chicken option with mashed potatoes but he said the plate had too much gravy and which somewhat swamped the mash potatoes and it being spicy already, made it difficult for him to complete his food. My daughter and I and my grandson had a feast and we found the meal very enjoyable. The chicken was so tasty that I chewed up the bones. Well done.

8.5/10Food tastes good . The sauce is good with the mixed jerk food. We don’t drink much alcohol so we sensitive to cause and found that if more rice offered to balance the flavour of the tasty sauce. Will appreciate if there are more vegetables to enhance the nutritional value of the tasty fish and also the meat dish.
