Un angolo di Sicilia bedda (e buona) a Milano. Il locale, disposto su due livelli, porta la tradizione della cucina di mare trapanese in città, con il cous cous che fa da fil rouge di diversi piatti, perfino nel dessert (il cous cous dolce con tiramisù, nel menu invernale). Nel trapanese di questo piatto mediterraneo se ne intendono davvero, tanto da averci fatto pure un rinomato festival gastronomico (il Cous Cous Fest, a San Vito Lo Capo); tradizione gastronomica che il proprietario, da intenditore e appassionato della cucina della sua terra, ha portato a Milano, compresi i bei piatti in ceramica decorati, tipici dell’artigianato isolano.
Il menu è stagionale e non tradisce mai le sue radici trapanesi, con qualche tocco moderno, e sempre all’insegna dell’ottima materia prima. Si può iniziare con l’Arancina di riso allo zafferano e ragù di triglie o con il gustoso Cannolo salato alle alici di Favignana e pecorino dop, con la Caponata di Melanzane con sfoglia di ceci, tanto per citare qualche antipastino. E proseguire con il Cous cous alla trapanese col brodetto di pesce oppure con quello al nero di seppia, ricci di mare e gambero rosso. Oppure puntare alle Busiate - la tradizionale pasta artigianale attorcigliata sul ferretto - al pesto trapanese oppure al gambero rosso e pistacchio, o ancora il Chitarrino al nero con bottarga e limone. Fra i secondi, il Calamaro imbuttunato (ripieno), la frittura, la seppia con vellutata di piselli. Un menu ragionevolmente articolato per rispettare freschezza, stagionalità e varietà di scelta. Tenete un posticino per i dolci: Cannolo, Cassata, Pera cotta al Marsala, granita… fatti in casa, come pure il pane. I vini, con coerenza, sono fra i migliori della provincia di Trapani.

Excellent Sicilian restaurant in Porta Romana area. Warm and quiet environment with a kind service. Price is a bit high for the area but it pays the quality because their dishes are really good. Una vera scoperta della cucina trapanese a Milano. Piati tipici rivisti dallo giovane chef che abbiamo potuto conoscere alla fine della serata. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Da ritornare!
Fantastic dinner, can see why it has the high ratings. We had the sardines as a start which was very tasty. As mains we had the trapanese cous-cous , seafood platter and a side of sautéed vegetables. Highly recommend this place was well worth it!

Very good Italian dishes. Here you will find not only cous-cous but everything from fish to meat. The service is professional and kind and the tables are far enough from each other to have some privacy

Strongly suggest this restaurant managed by people from Sicily where the tradition of the cous cous is from. They really care about their guests and I have seen them going to each table to ask clients if they liked their meals! Their olive oil, their vines, all is from Sicily, even the free starter that they give you is a delicious cous cous. Price is correct for the level, with the discount of the fork they were able to have my reservation and I'll definitely come back. ps: also English menu
For Trapanaise dish, best in town, Antonio, go go go !
Food is Sicilian good. I loved the Arancini, and Montalbano would agree.
