The server had a little knowledge about the menu or the drinks and broke a wine glass on a table, but nobody came back to check whether we were OK. The cocktail had large amounts of cucumber and mint, but with no mention on the menu and the cabbage strongly infused with horseradish, also with no mention on the menu. The lamb was very rare with no choice given as to how it would be cooked.

The overall experience was fantastic. The food was fab even though we had a longer than anticipated wait but it was worth it. The staff were great also and were very attentive. I would definitely go back for more.

The service was terrible. We were constantly ordering drinks and food which never arrived unless we asked for them multiple times. The restaurant wasn’t very busy. The staff very obviously inexperienced. A lot of the dishes turned up Luke warm or even cold. Very disappointing as we spent over £300 for 4 people. Food was ok but not exceptional. Shame because this place used to be very good.

The portions for a Sunday lunch were tiny. The roast potatoes really dry, the smallest portion of vegetables and gravy and the lamb was almost still alive. The pudding saved it somewhat but also overpriced for the portion size. Nice venue and they did discount the cost of one main meal but still won’t be visiting again. Very disappointing.

Absolutely, hands down one of the best restaurants I have been too. Fantastic food, amazing service and a such a beautiful place. Seb was our waiter for the evening and I couldn’t have met such a lovely person. He made sure we were topped up with wine and water and made my fiancé birthday evening special. Thank you so much, we will be back again 🥰 x

We thought the food and service when we were there was INCREDIBLE! However we were very disappointed with the booking service. We asked when booking if the tasting menu was available and was assured it was and a note was even made next to our booking. When I called to confirm the week before I was then told that the taster menu was no longer available. This menu was the only reason we booked and i specifically asked about it.

Arrived for. 7.30 booking and the table wasn't ready, we weren't bothered about this but having waited 40 mins we still had no drinks. The table was not ready until an hour after our booking. Individual waitress was friendly and efficient but we did not finally eat until an hour and a half after our booking. What was meant to be a special night was disappointing over all.

I wanted afternoon tea but didn’t realise I had to pre book waitress was very apologetic and at the end of our meal they brought us a glass off Prosecco each and a birthday plate for my friend whose birthday we where celebrating
