10/10It really was a lovely evening - apart from the noisy guy at the next table, which the resto could do nothing about! We were surprised by what a small, intimate place it was - very good atmosphere. We had Sardines followed by Saltimbocca, both of which were great. Good service too.

10/10Da Paolo has a great ambience, its warm and welcoming and the staff are friendly and there to make one’s visit great. The food was also very good. Highly recommended.

9/10The quality of the food and the friendly staff made for a very enjoyable evening.I have used this restaurant a number of times and have never been disappointed. I particularly like the sardines as a starter. This is a family run Italian restaurant and has a warm cosy feel to it.

10/102nd time here and not disappointed- delicious food, authentic atmosphere and attentive service all lead to a great experience- portion sizes are massive - make sure you leave room for dessert!!

10/10Really delicious homely food in very large portions. Proper Italian cooking, traditional and beautifully prepared. Cosy restaurant atmosphere, quaint & charming with lots of character. Great service too. Highly recommend and would return. 10 min stroll from theatre area.

10/10A very traditional Italian, warm, welcoming and very friendly. Service was excellent and our group of 6 were well looked after but the highlight was most definitely the food. Wow amazing, portions are big so come hungry or share, but one of the best pasta dishes have eaten outside of Italy. Not fancy, but honest, delicious proper Italian food, which is exactly as it should be. Wonderful!

7/10Disappointed because this is a restaurant I know but we were placed downstairs which just isn’t a nice. Felt I’d chosen badly for my friends . Always lovely pasta but using cream in carbonara not good. Also no cheese and waitress not at all bothered that things we wanted were not available .sally disappointed.

10/10A genuine gem in Fitzrovia; fabulous food, exceptional levels of service, a really brilliant vibe. Busy on a Thursday night, but waiting for a table was stress free (a cheeky Negroni on the pavement outside, wondering when the landlord of the Duke of York pub, just up the street plans to get a new image on his sign!) & well worth it when we got a table. One of my favourite restaurants of all time - never disappointing, great portion sizes, lovely staff & really good value for money.

9.5/10Authentic feel to the restaurant and the team are lovely! The food is fabulous and described by someone I was chatting to as the best Italian meal he’d eaten!! It is a little ‘cosy’ but that adds to the atmosphere and you can always ask to be seated downstairs where there is a little more space.
