8.5/10Food was lovely and fresh and plenty of choice and great value for £33 an adult, however didn't really get the 5% service charge as you help yourself and cook it yourself? Only downside was we had a 3 year old with us who is tall, over a metre high, so we had to pay £25 for her which is childs price and she literally ate a plate of chips and rice and 2 ice lollies so was an absolute waste of money for her! Definitely think they need to revise the childs policy and charge by age not height.

5.5/10Looks pretty when you arrive but all kind of average. Food was empty in pre cooked and some sushi a lot of the time and staff weren’t clued up at all with the menu or what was going on in terms of restocking so ended up standing around a lot waiting for things. Somethings just didn’t get restocked at all. Disappointing really as it was my daughter’s 18th birthday.

7/10Food was fresh and tasty with an abundance of meats and vegetables to cook with. The premade food was OK but not replaced to quickly. I also didn't like sitting shoulder to shoulder with the person I was with, not sure if that's a cultural thing or a space saving thing.

10/10We are loving Daiu and the cook your own concept (there are also some dishes already cooked too). Love that you can pick your own meat and seafood and cook it on your own personal hot plate, whilst you bubble away your noodles and veggies in your hotpot, just delicious, plenty of sushi and desserts to pick from too, would certainly recommend a visit.

2/10Very disappointed. Supposedly a 90 minute timeslot but took over 15 minutes to seat us. Selection wasn't great. Beef tallow broth was watery and bland. Not enough room on table for plates due to the grill. £70 for 2 people with a service charge even though we had to serve ourselves. That is a disgrace in my opinion. If I had more time I would have complained at the restaurant but had a concert to attend. Would not return and would definitely not recommend.

10/10Excellent concept at Daiu, where you cook your selections of noodles and veggies in a hotpot and grill your meats, prawns etc, we loved it! The food was really fresh and tasty, with a great selection to choose from, some cooked items as well and plentiful desserts, we are already booked to go back next week!

6/10My experience was okay. I enjoyed the cooking stations and appreciated the variety of meat and vegetable choices. However, I was disappointed by the limited number of pre-cooked options. The service was average. I was disappointed I couldn't order still water through the QR code, and the soft drinks were expensive. Additionally, there was a service charge added to each drink order placed via the QR code, even though I had already paid a service fee upfront when I arrived. Cleanliness was a major letdown as well; the plates and cutlery were dirty with dried-on food. The toilets were lacking toilet roll, and there was no working lock. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the experience was let down by cleanliness and service.

8.5/10+4Very helpful staff and a very large variety of food choice. Not worth £33, but just about worth the £25 I paid. Mains are decent, the sweets/puddings are very cheap and they charge a fortune for any type of drink.

5.5/10We asked for a quiet table they said they were fully booked so we were really over stimulated cause we’re autistic and half the restaurant was empty. The staff was really awkward and didn’t seem like they knew what they doing and were really quiet and the instructions were not clear it should be written down The food was a 4 and not a 5 because the dessert were awful the cake disgusting the ice cream was mid but the actual food was gorgeous x

9/10Loads of choice of food and great customising options with your individual cooking station. Group dining can be a bit difficult to socialise in because of the size and noise of the cooking station but it's the trade-off you make for the dining experience. Well worth a visit.

10/10Absolutely an enjoyable dinner! Daiu offers fresh food with an impressive variety of BBQ and hotpot ingredients, along with cooked dishes, sushi, desserts, fruits, and ice cream. It was our first visit, and the server went above and beyond by giving us a detailed tour of the sections and services. The service throughout our 2-hour meal was incredibly attentive. The restaurant is new, clean, spacious, and well-organized—everything was perfect.
