Dim light, energic gentle service. I order Duck tartine . It was an authentic recipe, they use port ham for cover instead of pastry. The filling was not a smooth duck pate. The duck cooked and minced . I love the texture. Apricot souce was also succesful. My second course was pork belly. it was boring, i prefer these kind of fatty pork meats with citrus flavoring. My main plate was ribeye. It was a big one, lovely, full flavor charcoal. It was one of my best grills ever. I forgot to ask if chef injected boullion inside but the meat was juicy. Wine was an Argentinian Malbec. It was also a nice company Complimentary tomato basil, goat cheese was awesome, solely worth to come here. Pleasant night thank you Price ***

The terrace at Dakota was disappointing. No Ambiance at all. It was a Friday evening. We ordered steak and chips for 2. Steak was good but chips were over salted. The cauliflower in sweet soy was virtually inedible. Mushy overcooked cauliflower and overly salted sauce again. Overall a pretty underwhelming experience. Would not go back or reccomend

Best stay in Manchester, food was amazing and the service was even better. Would highly recommend to any one visiting or looking for an over night stay in the city.

First time at the Dakota. I will definitely return back. Food was amazing. The staff were friendly and professional. Location was very good and the ambience of the restaurant was lovely. Love the hot bread and tomato sauce served at the start of the meal.

When we arrived there was nobody at the desk to greet us or take us to the table, and neither of the bar staff felt like grabbing someone to assist until I approached of them. Food and cocktails were delicious, we were also greeted by crispy bread and dip. The ambience in the restaurant is brilliant and let you unwind. Staff in restaurant were really attending and made us feel welcomed. Definitely will be coming back there

Modern restaurant, with great decor and ambience. Food is beautifully presented, and well prepared. Servers were generally helpful and attentive. Wine list not too extensive, but some great choices on offer. Recommended, and would return.

Food was ok nothing out of this world for the price of the menu. Service was pretty shocking for the 15% service charge fee. Waited 15 mins for them to take our order then took a further 15mins for drinks to arrive AFTER the starters had came to the table. Took a further 10 mins to get an extra bread roll. For the price of £170 for 2 rather of put it towards a holiday or a spa weekend

Amazing restaurant, stunning inside with an amazing sun terrace. Took my mum to celebrate her 70th and we were really taken care of. Really attentive and free drinks to celebrate. The food was superb, cannot wait to go again

An opulant feeling stylish restaurant with friendly attentive service and nice selection of wine. Food was very good, with prices to match, menu is classy but a bit limited. I was given a fantastic complimentary nibble to start of fresh bread and tomato and baked cheese dip, a really nice touch and dam tasty!! Perfect for a speacial occasion.

the atmosphere is nice but can't say the same about the service. In the bar needed to wait 40min for out cocktails and water. Once went for our dinner in the grill ,needed to keep ask for our ordered wine to be delivered. To finish it was my partners birthday which I asked to make a special plate when i booked the table, nothing was delivered. Needed to ask for it which made it very unpleasant. And then needed to wait another 30 min to pay, even when the restaurant was pretty much empty. unfortunately would not come back.

Excellent restaurant and a first class dining experience. Very friendly and professional service. Louis, our senior waiter was brilliant and very informative. The food was excellent, extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Had a drink in the bar afterwards and this very nice, nice decor, good atmosphere, comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and every member of staff acknowledged us as we walked through to our table. It’s the small things that make a big difference, remembering who ordered what meal just placing it down without interruption. Great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

Staff were excellent as were the scallop starter, the fillet steak and the stone bass. The panko prawns not so sure about. The broth flavour is too subtle and it negates the crispness of the prawns.

Had a wonderful meal here. The staff cannot do enough to make sure everything is perfect. I had booked the terrace in error and they found a table in the restaurant once I had explained what had happened. The food is amazing and the service excellent. Will definitely be returning.
