5/10Overcooked food arrived 40mins after ordering, with one out of the three meals being incorrect. That then took an extra 15mins to arrive. Apologetic staff did not make up for the ingredient quality disappointment.

9/10A classic Davy's wine bar set in an historic vaulted cellar. Service was very attentive and always with a smile. The food portions were very generous and the quality good. We were seated in an area off the main bar which was a bit stark, and lacked the ambience of the bar area, but was still characterful. Would definitely recommend as an option for a lunch in this secluded area of the West End.

10/10A warm and comfortable lunchtime retreat full of character and charm. The food and wine were of high quality and the portions generous - my guest and I both enjoyed Davy's Christmas Pudding especially, and Davys Celebration Claret which we thought was exceptionally good value at the price. In a changing world Davy's still offer old fashioned, traditional hospitality which is becoming increasingly rare to my mind. The staff were relaxed, attentive , polite and very helpful, so a big 'thank you' to them!. And all this right in the heart of the West End of London!

9/10Good steaks, great wine list. House wines and others at good prices. Went on Wednesday steak night 7.30 and our first 2 steak choices were unavailable. But Chateaubriand with sauces and sides was very good. Potted crab starter good, but bread crusts were stale. Overall good ambiance and great service. We’ll be back!

7.5/10I met a friend for dinner. We were seated in a quiet corner which was great as the hub-hub in the bar was jolly but noisy. Choice of wines is amazing. I had a glass of house champagne which was perfect. Followed by a love glass of Chardonnay. My friend had a white burgundy. The food was a little disappointing- chicken dry and lentils too spicy. But all in all its great value and always reliable.

7/10I met with a colleague and it was the first time in 30 years I had been in a Davey's WIne bar. The wine list was good, better than expected. We had 9 wines in our tasting and the service was excellent. We did not dine, only a couple of packets of crisps so my rating is neutral on food.

8/10Dining area is away from the main bar a was quiet and pleasant. Service was good and food very acceptable. Wasn't especially expecting a great dining experience (and only ate one course) so very satsified and shall certainly go there again.
