6/10The service was lovely. However I did not want to dine along with several dogs. This is supposed to be a restaurant, not a dog friendly pub! The food was mediocre at best, and we were asked to leave at 9.50pm due to lack of customers. We had bought some decent wines and ended up taking the bottles home to finish! Perhaps there are some clues as to why there are a lack of customers

9/10Love what you’ve done to Davy’s. It’s a treat to visit when we’re in London. It used to be a favourite haunt back in the 80’s and where my husband & I first dated all those years ago - so thank you for preserving & enhancing our memories!!

9.5/10The first thing we noticed was the ambience and the cleanliness of this lovely eating house. The food excellent and presented perfectly. The waiting staff were very courteous and polite. I would recommend Davy’s wine vaults to anyone who appreciates nice dining experiences. Top marks to the staff and everyone involved in making our visit so memorable.

6/10Services where very good,but when asked about food which I said was overpowering with so many chillies she said she would tell chef. I didn't eat but nothing else was offered. Won't eat there again ,only drink

7.5/10Amazing service from the dedicated team only let down by the Fish N Chips. Tiny piece of haddock covered in the heaviest and thickest batter I have ever experienced. Maybe increase the haddock portion and decrease the batter? Having worked as a Chef, batter should be light in texture and colour and cooked in clean oil. Accompanied with additional mushy peas but why add mint to them which spoilt the flavour.

5.5/10Lovely little place. Sat inside and were left alone quite a bit. Had the fish and chips and burger in our party which were both very good and tasty. Would go again and sit in the courtyard next time.

9/10Of course Davy's is known for their wine but the food was equally good. We thought the food was superb. The chili brocoli, the green beans with shallots, the linguine - were all full of flavour and tender,d the vegetables were left green. The steak was truly the way I like it - (a rare thing in London), and the chips some of the best I've had. Really crispy with good oil, soft, hot and satisfying. The welcome from staff was great - the waiter was a little cool and a little slow, however totally professional. Neither of us like music while we eat and talk. Thankfully the music was not overpowering and stayed like a small irritation in the background. This place is a find, mainly because of the great location, the understated, ancient interior and the fantastic cooking.

6.5/10Unfortunately the food quality wasn’t great. Bangers and mash - 2 bangers and tiny bit of mash. Booked via Fork but reservation wasn’t here when we arrived however they had table For us. Run out of broccoli so only 1 portion was served. Service was very slow we had to go and get our own drinks. Shame as lovely venue

4/10Sadly we were rather disappointed. Our table was around a corner and after our waitress finished her shift we were rather neglected by the remaining staff. We were not offered dessert and when we asked, were told that the kitchen had closed!! Disappointing as this used to be a regular haunt of ours many years ago.

10/10I love this wine bar, I used to live nearby and come more often, the quality of their beef is superb and everything is done with care and attention. Service was very good too, attentive and efficient, the added the lemon tart to their dessert menu and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Please Davy's never change management

8/10Been using Davy’s on and off for many years and due to modernity has somehow lost some of its cosy atmosphere! Nonetheless It’s still nice albeit the prices for both food and drinks are on the high side - for example, nearly £7 for a pint and almost £8 for soup is in my view a bit steep!

3/10I’m really disappointed because we came here for Sunday roast after discovering this place at a comedy show a few weeks ago. I brought my book club here this Sunday and the roast was awful. The meat was over cooked and stringy, mostly inedible. And the Yorkshire puddings were hard as a rock. Really let down by this.

10/10Service was incredible - they were super helpful and also did an excellent job of helping us to select wine with our dinner! The food was very good - would highly recommend the cheese and charcuterie board as well as their chips! Will definitely be back - a local gem!

8/10Needed a venue for a group of us to meet n eat before going to the theatre. We had a lovely meal - I had the lentil Dahl which was delicious. Efficient staff friendly atmosphere.
