8.5/10The restaurant has an incredible view of the golf course. Beautifully decorated. The food was amazing. Service was quite slow which was disappointing as we had a special guest with us and we seemed to have waited quite a while before we received attention.

7.5/10I have been to the Centurion, many times, unfortunately on this occasion, the food quality was not up to its usual standard. I had the three course set menu. The red mullet was tough and chewy and needed to be torn apart, rather than cut with a knife. The cord and fritters were tasteless, and the sticky toffee pudding lacked the richness needed to make it a special dessert. The tiny scoop of ice cream next to it was not good quality either and tasted synthetic. I have had many similar meals in this restaurant and they have all been delicious so it’s a shame that on this occasion the food did not live up to expectations, especially as I was treating my friend to a meal.

9.5/10Everything from the welcome onwards was very good. The choice and quality of food is outstanding and the service was friendly and helpful. If I have one small grumble it is that I could have done without the unpleasant background "drum and bass" music - it didn't seem appropriate in such a nice place.

10/10Booked a belated Mother’s Day tea as a gift and our waiter went out of his way to make it a special occasion for my mum. The food was as good as any of the teas I’ve had in the top London hotels for a fraction of the cost. The sandwiches were super fresh and delicious interesting flavours. Everything was presented beautifully in a relaxed and attractive setting with lovely views across the golf course (slightly spoilt by the rain on the day but it didn’t really matter). Great service great food and great value, would highly recommend.

10/10We really enjoyed our lunch at Centurian. The food was excellent, and the service very good. Relaxing atmosphere, no rush, just chill. Nice to have coffees afterwards by the fire. We will definitely come again.

10/10We have used this restaurant a few times and it never disappoints. The food is exemplary and the staff friendly. The only negative point is that I use a wheelchair and their disabled toilet is extremely low.

7/10The quality of the food was superb and well presented but the vegetarian menu is very poor unless you like mushrooms! The chef needs to be aware many veggies hate mushrooms! The service today was a little slow but otherwise excellent and very friendly.

4/10It started badly when the Kir Royale was not mixed and was served with a straw. Sat at a table where one side had a much lower chair than the other. Only bread offered was end of day solid brown. No steak left. Starter of carpaccio tasted only of shallot relish. Main fine. I would suggest the chef looks up how to make a bavois… disappointing and phenomenally expensive, especially for very moderate food. £15.50 for a bog ordinary G &T and even the waiter thought that was pricy!

9.5/10The lunchtime fixed menu was very reasonable with generous portions. Discrete and attentive service complemented the ambiance and decor. Parking was generous. The only criticism was that the view was a bit confined and did not give a panorama of the golf course.

9/10Great afternoon tea. Lovely room with a great view of the golf course. Sandwiches, scones and cakes all delicious. The only down side was that we were charged for extra sandwiches. Never been charged for these at any other afternoon tea venue. Just seems a bit odd. Wouldn’t put us off going again. It’s a great venue.

10/10Lovely, tasteful decor in the conservatory where we had afternoon tea. Nice and warm inside, very cosy with plush cushions and sofas - I felt very comfortable. The view from the conservatory looks onto the lake/golf course so that was visually appealing. The food and champagne was tasty and staff were polite and obliging. A lovely gem of a place, I would recommend!
