4.5/10Really looking forward to forward to this place having seen other reviews but unfortunately did not enjoy the experience. We ordered two moussakas and one of the sharing meat platters . The food came out pretty quickly but the moussakas which were obviously microwaved were stone cold in the centre . The meat platter was okay though only just hot enough and presentation was pretty basic . The mousakkas when they came back out were hotter but again basic just mince and cubed potatoes with a cheesy top and a watery sauce . We really wanted it to be good but sadly won’t be going back

10/10This is the second time we as a group of 7 have eaten at this restaurant and absolutely love it! The menu is vast, quite unique (dishes from around the baltic, e.g., Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, etc). All beautifully home cooked with home cured meats (which we thoroughly recommend. The staff are friendly and very attentive, service is quick and food always hot. This is a true gem of restaurant in Worthing, and we all definitely recommend it.

10/10Beautiful, traditional Bulgarian restaurant. Delicious food for 5 people for £120. The Easter lamb special was amazing, also catered for a vegan guest. Grills, stews, platters, breads, cheeses. Nice desserts and loads of choice of drinks. Freindly helpful staff.

8/10The bread and the meat were the stars of the meal. Good size (generous) portions, particularly the meat platter. We had a bottle of Bulgarian red wine too which was very good. The prices at full price are not unreasonable but with 50% discount through the fork it was amazing value.

9.5/10The service was super, very personable, the only disappointment that there were no flat breads as their oven was broken. Also the Fork online system let me down by not allowing me to book with the discount, but that was not Donchevi's fault and they gave me a discount in any event.
