Absolutely delicious pizza, including the light and crispy crust! As it was so large I failed to finish it as it was cold by the time I’d eaten most of it, so hot plates would have helped, but it was so good!

Went to celebrate my birthday with my Italian family who was visiting. We absolutely loved the pizza, perfect dough made by a real Italian!!! I can’t wait to go back and feel a little closer to home again.. Thanks once more for the service by the lovely young girl and for the pizza made by Michele! Yum yum 😋 Valentina

The food was good, though I did not receive the correct wine. On payment the £20 deposit was not taken off and I had to enquire about this and wait 15min for this to be corrected. Whilst the staff were friendly,I’m not a fan of of staff eating and drinking behind the bar area.

After reading reviews and seeing the social media page for Due Forni, I booked in to celebrate a family birthday. We booked through the website and had to pay a £10 per head deposit to secure the booking. The food was lovely, but sadly our experience was ruined by the service provided. The staff really have no self awareness, and interrupted several conversations. When we ordered drinks, one was missed. The mains weren’t all served at the same time. There is a mobile phone that rings extremely loudly for their takeaway orders, and the staff seem to have had very little training, and have a complete lack of confidence in what they’re doing. One of the team even tried to take one of our plates whilst we were still eating!! Remember that deposit? It’s gone through a third party, so it doesn’t come off your bill. At some point we’ll get it back, but it all just seems a bit dodgy. Sadly, a very disappointing experience given the quality of the food. We won’t be returning..

I am yet to receive my deposit back, despite turning up to the restaurant. I asked the waiter when we were paying who confirmed it would be returned immediately. Despite chasing via email 3 times, I have still not heard back. It’s incredibly disappointing when the food is wonderful and I’ve previously recommended it to many of my friends and family. It’s unacceptable to take money from people and not return it.

I go to Due Forni regularly and everything about it is outstanding. The pizzas are ridiculously tasty, the ambience is rustic and relaxed yet civilised and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
