10/10The choice of delicious and delightful food. The good value for money and the excellent customer service. This is not the first time that we have been to The Eccleston Arms and it’s always excellent. There is a nice atmosphere and one in which you can relax and enjoy your food and drink. Thoroughly recommended.

9.5/10Being with good friends but, mainly, great food, although we do think you could save money by reducing portion sizes, particularly the starters, and we (5 of us) all thought the same.

Thank you for a lovely review. the new menu is available on 1st april where there will be more small plate starters which are available to share. We also do a small Sunday lunch for smaller appetites especially if you enjoy a starter Hope to see you soon

10/10Perfect sized portions,and priced accordingly, the food is quality food and of a high standard,Great extensive menu choice ,polite staff,clean well maintained surroundings,and decor,will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

7.5/10We ordered kebabs which came on a plate not skewers so presentation of meal wasn't the best. Skin on fries should have been served in a separate basket not on the plate. Apple crumble was overly sweet and sickly, couldn't taste the apples as too much sugar and syrup. Very noisy group with noisy toddler who was allowed to stand on the table! Maybe sit couples away from large family groups whenever possible.

Staff were attentive and friendly even though it was busy. Food was amazing and all came out very quick. Have been here for a roast dinner before and knew it was good. Love the red cabbage on it

10/10There was ten of us and we turned up on spec for lunch after a funeral. We got a table for all of us straight away in the breakfast room. There was no one else in there only us, it was a very special final good bye, service and food was excellent. Would recommend the restaurant to everyone and would definitely be eating there again.

4.5/10Went for valentines didn’t like the atmosphere very cold in the restaurant. Food overpriced for what we got and wasn’t the best wouldn’t recommend not what I was expecting and the manager was quite rude with his staff

8.5/10We were a large party of 16, as requested we pre ordered our food. We had originally booked in for 2:15pm and then was asked by the restaurant to arrive at 2:30pm due to another large party being in just before us. . We arrived at 2:30 , table service for drink was very slow and by 2.50 we were still awaiting drinks. We had to chase up our food order twice while tables around us continued to be served . Our starters arrived after one hour and fifty minutes at 3:50pm and our mains again were slow to follow. We ended up going to the bar ourselves to order drinks throughout the meal. The food was amazing the restaurant very well presented and the staff when they did approach our table were very pleasant. Our table was at the back of the restaurant which may of been the cause for lack of table service . However the wait of one hour and fifty minutes for pre ordered food was unacceptable. We were to offers no apology or given any reason for the delay.

3/10Waited 15 mins for drinks there was only one other table taken in the restaurant, food came and 3 dishes out of the 5 dishes was wrong manager did offer to correct but we had waited that long we declined. Food was ok could have been much better. There was 10 pound taken off the bill which was nice if the kitchen staff and other waitresses were like the manager then it could be a lovely place to eat

6.5/10My starters was cold and bacon very crunchy. My wife's starter was lovely. My main of mixed grill was poor. Chip shop sausage, steak did not taste nice, chicken dry and egg was like rubber. The gammon was nice but thin. Not worth the cost of £28.00. My wife had lamb chops and again was lovely. Hit and miss is my overall opinion but not good value for money.

2/10We booked a table for 4pm. Upon arrival we were told there was a 30 minute wait. Which we might have considered. People were leaving after already waiting an hour and to be told the was only turkey left for the roast and no roast potatoes. No chilli no curry very limited options left. We turned around and went else where. Very dissapointed as we were really looking forward to a lovely Sunday lunch.

2.5/10We went for afternoon tea, and the food was terrible. The scones were dry as they had been frozen and reheated, which was confirmed by the waitress, and the desserts were store-bought. Extremely disappointed with this booking. Would not recommend this location for afternoon tea.
