2 of the vegetarian options ran out so I had to have my third choice of main course. Not great. Staff were apologetic but no discount offered or free coffee offered which would have been a nice touch. This was 7pm so I was surprised and disappointed.

A warm welcome on a cold day was an excellent start to my lunchtime catch up with a close friend. Ecco Vino is a favourite of ours and doesn’t disappoint. I had the seafood linguine paired with a delicious Nero D’Avola 👌🏼 I then had chocolate fudge cake, which admittedly was too sweet and too much after my main course. My friend had the special carbonara with a grenache rosé. She then had lemon tart which she described as excellent. The ambiance was perfect and service excellent. I look forward to returning.

Don’t be put off thinking this is a cafe . It’s high quality Professional service is as good as any Michelin recommended one and with quality food to boot. Highly recommended

Great friendly staff created a good atmosphere, and the food was very tasty. We were a table of 8, in the late evening (8.45 booking). I do have to say that the food took an absolute age to arrive, but was good when it finally showed up

Great little Italian restaurant right off the Royal Mile. It has a very intimate and cozy feel to it. The food and wine were delicious. I had the risotto of the day, which did not disappoint. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. Would definitely come back here on our next visit to Edinburgh!

Our group of 8 had a wonderful experience at Ecco Vino this evening. The food was delicious, and the service was superb. We are lucky to have had this great experience toward the end of our time in Edinburgh.
