7.5/10Food and ambience great. It was a shame my entire meal was delivered and my sister was at least half an hour after so I shared my food with her so she didn’t get too hangry. Waiter was pleasant but would deliver food and not clear empty plates until later when he must have realised he should make space. Food was tasty but timing poor.

10/10Everything was ok, the food, the atmosphere, the experience. We waited for our desserts a bit longer but it was ok in the end. The stuff were friendly and polite.

8.5/10Really enjoyed the food and good value bottomless brunch. However we were the only people in the restaurant, yet it took a while to get our drinks and the waiter had to be prompted. Food was served in good time. I would go back again for the brunch if there was more of a vibe and there was more attention to service.

10/10We had 3 different types of sushi roll, California, Yellowtail and Spicy tuna. All were very tasty. The signature roll volcano had really nice presentation, and the sauce as well as filling was amazing together. Highly recommend!!!

9.5/10Super fresh and tasty sushi, sashimi and rolls for a meal out with friends who absolutely loved it. Already good value for money, a seasonal 30% discount made it outstanding. Very polite and helpful staff. Room is rather darkly industrial-chic (especially with the giant, empty-with-all-the-lights-on office building visible through the floor-to-ceiling window at the back) but cheerful when full of people and the delicious food more than made up for it.

9.5/10Very tasty food. Staff was lovely. They had only one sushi chef on that day and food was served slowly and not at the same time. Would go back but plan more time.

9.5/10The sushi was amazing. We had a few of the different rolls. Good size portions with really lovely combinations of ingredients and flavours. It was just a shame the restaurant was empty which it doesn’t deserve to be.

8.5/10+1All the fish was really good quality and the flavours were great! I love the black miso cod, it was so tender and the sauce was to die for. Hana mocktail was just ok though, basically just lychee juice 😭 Service was great, quite fast and all the workers are very helpful and friendly.

7/10Good food. Service was a bit slow and not great (e.g., didn't put through a beer, forgot to bring tea, gyoza's came last). Atmosphere was lacking - not a typical izakaya vibe at all.

9.5/10We had a Barbican show that evening so as time was tight opted for the Early Bird menu. Excellent quality, prompt service. The aubergine was lush, Smokey and caramelised .. a super dish, teriyaki tender and a great flavour, quid spot on. Staff friendly. Will go again when we have more time - the dishes heading to other tables looked very tempting, we’re of a good size and v well presented . Yup I’ll be back

5.5/10We liked our drinks and appetizers. I didn't really care for the buns. The ambiance wasn't as nice as I would've liked. I honestly think they just kept the same decor as the restaurant that was there before them. A bit pricey for what we got. Not good enough to return again.

8/10went for my mum birthday the small plates was 10 out of 10 went with my two young kids under the age of 10 and they both enjoyed the food and loved it but I was a little bit disappointed with the larger plates as I felt like the Black cold could have being a big bigger plus there was couple of pin bones in my cod which was disappointing, after I complain i just got an apology and later on the manager reduced the pirce by 20% whi h was a little disappointing as if i found bones in my fish i will expect it to be handle better than how it was handle. The lager plates was a little let down as i was really looking forward to having my cod and also the beef rib eye. The rib eye and cod was really small and i would have expected it to comenwith rice or even noddles comparing to the price that we paid for the large plates this was a little bit of a let down. The curry was a little bit plan and noting to woow me and the taste was ok, over the drinks was on point and my mum enjoyed her birthday I will visit again in future but I think I will stick to the small plates for now.

10/10EDO Izakaya was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. This is the second time eating here and the first time was fantastic but the second was even better. The restaurant is very welcoming and service was rapid and friendly. The butter fish tataki and yellow tail roll were highlights. I cannot wait to go again!
