Loved this place! The food was delicious and the service was the best. I wish the portions were a bit smaller so that we could have tried the dishes we had to pass as we became full after the forth tapas.

If you ever want a traditional home cooked meal from a restaurant this is the place! Excellent new interesting meals from La Mancha.

The couple who run El Tormo were extremely cordial. They spoke only Spanish but were able to let us know what we eating. All food is very fresh and the flavors were quite original. El Tormo is definitely worth a visit if you are in Madrid.

A unique experience in Madrid. Very informal setting. By the end, you'll feel you had acquired a new aunt or grandma (who goes to much trouble to make you feel loved and well-fed). The many courses on the menu represent local cuisines of la Mancha: this is the people's food, not haute cuisine, but no less worthy. It may be a bit challenging if you don't speak Spanish, but you'll still appreciate the food -- and the value it represents!
