6/10In my opinion, papadams are too plain and not enough spice, vegetarian samosas lacks flavor and too large for an appetizer, both the lamb and chicken are below average quality meat, and both curries lack flavor.

10/10As ever, a superb experience from start to finish with some of the most flavoursome food on the planet and service to die for. The lamb dishes are sublime with perfect meat and wonderful sauces. We look at others and still keep booking here. Thank you.

9.5/10A great menu with many options. I had 21 spice chicken and lots of Naan. Flavor and food quality was excellent. Service was also very good. Would highly recommend.

6/10Very average. Nothing more to add really. It's a bit different which I quite enjoyed but I wouldn't return. One of our group doesn't like spicy food and absolutely everything was hot!

9.5/10A little gem of a restaurant featuring delicious Indian appetizers and dishes. Try the Korma served with a mint sauce, so good. Friendly staff and good service.

5/10Expected more based upon the online reviews tbh. For a Friday night at 7pm the restaurant was pretty much empty, then you notice the decor and undecorated walls...manky plug sockets etc... The served what I would call ..an average meal, not bad, just your average curry.

For a normal diner, it is a good experience, good quality food with reasonable price. A disappointing fact is about the 50% The Fork Festival discount that we supposed to get on all ala carte menu. They tend to charge extra for selected dishes, and they charge 20% for service charge, so I would say the discount we get is not as significant as expected.

+3Booked via FORK. As they advertised 50% discount. However, it is actually 30% as they add compulsory 20% service charge! Also, lamb, fish and tandoori dishes are £4 extra and king prawn dishes are £6 extra. These things are nowhere mentioned on Fork. So, I didn't appreciate their lack of transparency. Food was delicious and good portions. 👍

10/10I took my fiance here for our monthly date-night and as part of our Edinburgh Fringe Festival trip for the preview week. I had read the online reviews and was impressed enough to book it, especially as Indian/ Nepalese isn't my top-of-the-list favourite of foods. I was, however, extremely impressed by the menu choices, tastes, quantities and particularly service of this very cosy venue. I requested we were seated at the back which added to the romantic ambience of the evening. I certainly impressed my fiancé and it would be a definitely place of eating upon our return in future. Highly recommended!

10/10This is why TripAdvisor works - Everest was the top recommend in our area and we were not disappointed. My Lamb Pudina was just superb. We have been used to food coming out quite quickly in Scotland, this meal took a little longer than normal (took about 15min)(which is not long by South African standards). As they say, 'Good food takes time'. Would definitely go back again.
