9.5/10We had a lovely lunch for 4 at Fairuz today. Delicious food, good value, excellent and responsive service.It is our third visit and we will definitely bring other guests here.

4/10The food was ok, not amazing, but good enough. although it seemed better on previous occasions. We had an early dinner (before the friendly young waiting staff arrived,) and were served by what I believe to be the owner and his wife (?). They were so grumpy we didn't feel at all welcome, it felt like we were inconveniencing them and they just couldn't be bothered. Not a pleasant experience and with so many lovely restaurants to choose from, we will look elsewhere next time.

10/10Thank you for making our College mini reunion festive gathering so much fun. The food was utterly delicious and excellent value for money. Thank you too for your patience and good will. I promise we will be quieter on our next visit.

8/10Lovely food and restaurant but the service was a bit slow. Took a while to get drinks but they did arrive promptly once ordered. No issues with food but would have loved to be offered more bread with the food, but had no chance to ask. Overall really lovely though. Did have to try and find someone to pay as watched 2 tables have to do the same but they quickly realised.

6/10Dinner at Fairuz was a ‘reasonably’ pleasant experience and on par with similar Lebanese eateries, except on price.. Felt the £140 (£70/head) for 2 mezza + 2 mains + 1 bottle of wine, was on the high side, in spite of the Marylebone location ..

Thank you for your kind review, and I am very pleased that you have got a pleasant exper at fairuz . I am afraid the days we could dine out in london cheap are over . We re not happy with it but it is a reality, that bill includes a 20 % VAT , wages and operational costs are very high . We source the best natural ingredients carefully and it costs money , we have decided not to jeopardise our quality and pass on some of the cost reluctantly.

9.5/10Great authentic restaurant booked online for 2 people at 9 yet arrived 40 mins early with an extra guest with just a welcome smile and come in, with no problems. Fabulous red wine suggestion by our host was lovely. Definitely go back soon

5.5/10We had a reservation for 6:30pm and after finishing our selection of meze we were rushed to finish and presented with the bill at 7:30pm, iI have been coming to Faruz regularly for over 15 years and whilst the food is delicious this aggressive behaviour is new. The explanation was that they need the table because others are waiting and they are running a business. . This was unpleasant and disappointing and I am afraid I will not recommend or return.

Thank you for your feedback If I can highlight the issue step by step 1. You were not rushed to finish your meal 2. After finishing you did not want to order anything else 3 we don’t have a policy of minimum spending, yet it is not our policy for people to spend total bill£50 on dinner for 2 people and take the table the whole night especially if we are a very small restaurant with 14 table only . And yes we are a business, after all we have got huge bills to pay . 3. As for the service you did have a good service for your dinner , asking you to make space for other guests is not a bad service it is called common sense 4 . I don’t think you will find yourself a restaurant in London that you can spend time chitchatting over tap water There is plenty of coffee shops around that will allow it we can recommend.

10/10Nice cosy atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service and delicious food. Portions incredibly generous, so small eaters can order less and big eaters will be completely satisfied. We shared the mezze and it was more than generous.

4/10I have loved Fairruz for years , but I feel it’s time for a fair amount of TLC. The food isn’t as good as it used to be . Overall the dining experience is akin to eating in a take out, but the prices reflect a fairly good restaurant. It seems that the pressure on the kitchen from take out orders is causing delays for inhouse diners. I don’t want this to be a public review , it’s feedback for the owners,

5/10The restaurant appeared to be short staffed for early on a Friday evening. It was 10 minutes after being seated before I was able to flag down a waitress just to order water, drinks, starters, etc. Our starters arrived quickly but the time between service was long and one main arrived with the other two arriving 15 minutes later. We wanted the wine list but no one came back to check in. The place had a lively ambience and our food was good. The disorganization and being ignored just left us disappointed after having Fairuz come highly recommended by friends. Hopefully they were just having an off night.
