8.5/10unexpected find on holloway road. Food was great, and portions generous. the feijoada tasted authentic as did the big portion of signature beef rib. we'll be back

Been there last week a d when i say i had one of the best Feijoada in a long time i really mean it. Was a very chill afternoon wasn’t busy and service was spot on. Didn’t catch the name of my server but shout out to her she was super chill.

5/10They added £5 on top of the fork 40%, I mean if you don’t want to do the 40% just don’t. But we came all the way to the restaurant and found out they needed to add £5 extra to every dish. Not very happy with that

10/10Filo was very lively when we visited as it is near to Emirates Stadium and The Arsenal was at home. Understandably, our meal took longer to arrive but was excellent when it did. Standards of service and cuisine are high here which made for a very enjoyable evening

I recently visited Filo Brazil in Highbury & Islington and tried the chef’s special slow-cooked ribs, cooked to perfection over 12 hours. The portion was generous, easily enough for two people, and came with a variety of sides. We also started with the Brazilian cheese breads, which were incredible—four different flavors, each unique and delicious. I highly recommend trying them! The Palm Heart Salad was also flavorful and fresh. We ended the night with the orange and caramel pudding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience Brazilian flavors!

3/10It was such a weird experience. The staff were lovely but the food was away too slow. It was freezing and we had to eat in our coats. The room was so cold that the heat plates went cold before our food arrived. Also the beef was tough. Honestly i would not go back again.

Sorry for your bad experience! Our heating system broke down during the coldest week we have faced since we opened Filó! We are working hard to try to fix it, but your experience unfortunately does not reflect the nights at Filó, where the food and atmosphere are always warm to warm your heart. I hope you understand the problem we had and we will be happy to welcome you back for a great experience in the future!l UPDATE: The heater is working now

The restaurant and its ambiance was very welcoming and cozy. Everything we ordered was delicious especially the Feijoada. I will definitely come back to try different dishes.

9.5/10The food was excellent, the portions large, tasty and well presented. The manageress/owner was super friendly and though we were nearing closing time when we ordered our main dishes was still happy to accommodate us with yummy desserts- much appreciated!

It was our first time at Filo! The staff were attentive. Particularly Renata and Anna who looked after us particularly well. The food we ordered was particularly meat heavy but the chefs seem to know what they are doing. The slowed cooked ribs fell off the bone and was delicious. So were the beans! A special mention to the chicken hearts which were succulent and beautifully spiced! All in all an excellent experience and would go there back in a heartbeat!

Service was great, food was served quick too. We have the croquettes which were crispy and flavorful. The short ribs were amazing, the fish stew was nice but a bit too thick which felt really heavy towards the end.

10/10This was my 2nd time dining here. I really like the location (close to a tube station), vibe of the restaurant (cozy but not too romantic so a great venue to meet up with friends but also great for a date night), and the food is SO tasty. The Fork gave me 50% off food - do check your bill because both times this was wrongly calculated, but immediately fixed when pointed out. I will book again via the app and can sincerely recommend to others.

10/10I went with friends, one a Brazilian who is a very good cook. We all agreed the food was excellent, the caipirinhas were perfect too. Staff were helpful and friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Will definately go back for more feijoada and palmito ceviche.
