First visit to Fishworks based on a friend’s recommendation and we were not disappointed. Nice size restaurant, good layout and ambiance. Food choice was good and we enjoyed our meals very much. Friendly attentive staff. I had Tiger Prawns to start followed by the tuna steak. Very tasty. Would recommend this restaurant.

10/10Another excellent meal at Fishworks. Ideally situated in the heart of Coventry Garden, and Drury Lane. Efficient, friendly service with delicious food and some very well priced wines. We loved The Fork deal giving a reduction on the a la carte menu. Great value and great food for Central London. See you again very soon!

The decor and atmosphere was nice. I ordered the scallop starter, which for £18, was disappointing. The seabass was delicious. The chips which was an extra £6 were not good.

7.5/10Service was very slow. We had to waive a number of times to get the waitress’s attention to order and had to ask for water twice. We had our main in front of us over 1h later from the booking time. Food was nice but not amazing. Good ambience overall.

I really wanted to love this place. In fairness, the food tasted good and the staff were lovely and the decor is nice but the cons outweighed the pros. The restaurant was freezing, I kept my jacket on and some people had their heavy coats draped over their shoulders. There was zero ambience, the place was very quiet, despite it being a Friday night. My starter (fried whitebait) came out cold. It still tasted good but it was a pity. We were also given a seat in the window under a very bright neon sign. I couldn't recommend it I'm afraid.

8.5/10The food was absolutely delicious and the service was mostly very good. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by a mix-up over the wine we ordered which meant that we were originally charged for a much more expensive bottle. This was eventually put right and the bill was reduced but the situation could have been avoided if Fishworks adopted the standard practice of having the house wine as the cheapest one on the menu, not to do so seems like a deliberate attempt to mislead people.

9.5/10Food was delicious and service very good. Above average pricing however this is reflected in quality of the food and service. We went for a late lunch so restaurant was quiet so difficult to judge ambience.

2.5/10Went to eat pre theatre booked in on time .Was put downstairs maybe because we had booked through the Fork .Ordered food after about 15 minutes waited for food that still had not arrived after another 45 minutes so had to leave with no food . So did not get to eat

10/10I had the whole oven-roasted sea bass and my word, that was the most delicious sea bass I have ever eaten! My friend had the seafood and samphire linguine which she also raved about! What a fabulous find Fishworks is! We'll be back!

9.5/10I come to Fishworks Covent Garden every time I visit London,which is at least once a year . The seating is always excellent, the table always ready, the fish is very fresh ,excellent quality and cooked just right! A guaranteed good meal good service and good value for money in central London....not always easy to find...Thank you Fishworks, for keeping your high standards

7.5/10Generally very good. The waitress forgot the custard for the crumble. When she brought it, it was curdled! The atmosphere was good but would have been better had a man on another table wasn't shouting and swearing on his mobile phone.

10/10This is the third time we have eaten here.The freshness and quality of the fish couldn’t be better. We started with six oysters followed by the fish soup. Mains were monkfish and yellow fin tuna , both were well presented and delicious. Would recommend this restaurant. We will certainly return when next in London.
