9.5/10Seated upstairs, it was surprisingly quiet for a Wed in the City. The groups of drinkers with snacks were all outside. Their dining menu has reduced to a tapas selection and one steak and one salad option - so good for an informal meetup but not so swish as before. Great wines and lovely staff, I enjoyed the high quality tapas and we had the upstairs almost to ourselves by the end. A great haunt in a brilliant location.

10/10Excellent wine bar in a delightful traditional setting - formerly Fox’s Umbrella shop. Great selection of wine, enthusiastic guidance when requested, and tasty, shareable small plates. I went twice in one week while visiting London, and will go back as soon as I have the opportunity

9.5/10Staff great, very attentive and food delicious. We sat upstairs and I found it hard to hear above the noise of others parties as the tables are very close together and it felt a little cramped.

10/10A really great night -great atmosphere, great service, quality wine, amazing nibbles. It eas heaving outside but inside was an oasis of calm. I will be back - brilliant night out

6/10Great atmosphere and very good wines, priced accordingly. Highly disappointing was a "sharing platter" of octopus and potatoes, which consisted of 9 small cubes of octopus sitting on 4 equally small cube of potatoes. Not fairly advertised and not fair value. Service staff was not impressed and said - it had always been like that (hence, as a guest, I should have known and have no reason to object?). Other sharing platter "Geeza" was ok.

8/10A great little find in the middle of the City - A really extensive wine selection - I mean 'really' extensive. Sit outside to watch the world go by or upstairs in a lovely Georgian room overlooking the green below.

10/10I've been using the Fox for years and always found a welcoming atmosphere, great food and exceptional wines. Service is excellent and will bend over backwards to ensure the best client experience. Bravo!

10/10Excellent wines, great ambiance - an all round enjoyable experience. Did not eat on this occasion but have enjoyed the food previously. Only drawback is that we drank too much wine!
