This was not our original choice to go for dinner for my husband’s birthday which will be in a week time. When govt announced lockdown I saw this was available just the day before lockdown and booked it. Saw so much great reviews. I have to say my choice wasn’t wrong at all. We loved the food and service. Though it was a pre birthday celebration due to current situation we felt like it’s the real birthday x we had a great time and we will go there again because food was AMAZING x
Just incredible. We’ve eaten at all the Marcus Wareing restaurants, The Ninth, and many other high end mitchelin star restaurants, and this really was top of the pile. Just fantastic start to finish, impeccable. We will be back when lockdown is over no doubt! Thank you!
Excellent from beginning to end. Great table, beautiful environment, professional service and superb food. Been here many times and rarely disappoints.
Beautiful setting, great ambiance, good food and attentive staff. As a vegetarian, with practically no options at at a French restaurant, I really appreciated that there is a separate vegetarian menu _and_ a vegan menu.
Birthday dinner with my girlfriend. Filippo, our waiter, offered an amazing service. We started the night with olives (I would’ve expected a more interesting amuse-bouche though) and a Spritz, we then moved on with our starters (Lasagne of Dorset crabs and Lobster and cod brandade) and our minds were blown. Beautiful presentation, incredible flavours. The main were beyond words, Mushroom Risotto and the Tagine of Bresse Pigeon. The pigeon was probably the best single dish I’ve ever had in my entire life. We had the pannacotta as a dessert and they were so nice to arrange it with a candle and a nice “Happy Birthday” chocolate tag. Highly recommended.
This is my favourite restaurant in London. Everything is perfect - the ambience, the decor, the service, the background music and, of course, the food. We usually have the set menu which is always good value, perfectly executed and inevitably delicious, even though the choice is limited to three starters, three mains and one dessert or cheese. The wine is well priced too. The adherence to Covid best practise is faultless and executed with charm. Can't wait for my next visit.
Great lunch in lovely airy surroundings, with attentive and friendly service that isn’t overbearing. Made a fuss for my wife’s birthday which was appreciated. Recommended.
The food was very good and they were very alert to my gluten intolerance. I and my wife had a lovely meal and wine. This is the first time I have tried this restaurant and it’s worth the recommendations I received.
Delicious food, excellent staff, very good. Will definitely return, be nice to have some slight less expensive reds but the Chablis was great.
We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. Food was outstanding and service was impeccable.
We are so glad to have found this restaurant, the service and food was 10 out of 10. We found this last minute for a birthday and it will be going to all of our favourites list. Cant wait to visit again soon.
Everything was perfect. Food really amazing, staff friendly, but they didn't bother you all the time asking questions. There was just one thing, that we did not like - it was pretty dark light, maybe at the other tables it's different, but in the middle it's bothering eyes.
I've lost count of the number of times my wife and I have dined at La Chapelle. I can honestly say that in all the years we have ben going there, we have always come out vowing to return. Great food, more than worthy of its Michelin star rating, very unusual but lovely setting, impeccable service. What's not to like?
Great setting and service, attentive, good covid protocols. Delicious pigeon tagine, delectable tarte tatin..........................
A thoroughly excellent evening made all the more enjoyable by great staff and a stunning setting.
Great restaurant and the atmosphere was brilliant. My wife was very happy it was her birthday and we will be back again soon. It was worth every single penny!! The service was fantastic and the staff has great sense of humour and were very attentive. I can’t wait to return!!
As a group of 6 we all had the tasting menu with wine pairing. It took over 3 hours for this to be concluded. Thus is far too long and resulted in a large charge from our pre booked taxi.
This was my first visit to a Michelin star restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the staff were really lovely - made us feel very comfortable.
Very positive experience
Great experience the lobster starter was nice. Lovely restaurant. Professional staff
