The staff were brilliant. The starters were wonderful. My steak was OK but my husband's steak was very fatty. Far too overcrowded and extremely noisy.

This is the best steak I’ve eaten. Consistency is the keyword. Always first rate. The Prawn starter is delicious too. Our favourite Brum restaurant and we’ve tried many others.

Sadly pretty poor value for money, rib eye was not particularly well seasoned and sides were underwhelming. A nice cocktail and rather expensive wine list. Not somewhere I'd return.

Hi, I never like to put bad feedback as I know how hard it is for pubs, restaurants etc, but I was so looking forward to coming here it’s been on my tick list for a while, my fiancé is meat mad and been to other Goucho restaurants in London, the service was brilliant and everything got off to a good start, it was fairly cold where we was sat which wasn’t good for me as I’m always cold so that wasn’t ideal with aircon blasting in October but understand these places get hot at times so let it go, waitress showed us cuts of meat again was impressed and picked what we wanted, but was disappointed when we tried ours, My partners was very chewy and mine wasnt cooked enough and completely tasteless which I was very shocked by, and on top of this the chimichurri sauce was just like pouring oil over my meat which made me feel Ill, I have had this sauce many times before and definitely wasn’t like this was so oily and tasteless so I was sad my visit wasn’t as I hoped. It was Very expensive which we don’t mind if the meat was on point but it wasnt so I think I need to be honest in saying it wasn’t good enough.

Very good selection of starters. Bread served warm. Seabass ceviche was the best starter we ordered. Steaks were well presented, flavorful and generously portioned. The baked cookie dessert was to die for!

The staff were very attentive and welcoming, great service. The food quality has gone down a bit since our last visit.. the fries seemed a bit dry and the steak was average.. the sauce was a bit lumpy but the flavour was spot on! Drinks were fantastic!

We turned up 15 minutes before the table was booked and was told its not on the system you'll have to wait. We purchased a drink and after waiting 45 minutes with no table we decided leave as there was no indication on how long we would need to wait.

Unfortunately the food was not hot when it came out, the pepper sauce was more like gravy and the ribeye steak not the best (was a bit chewy). The staff were very accommodating and did comp us desserts as an apology and previous visits we had wonderful experiences, so despite the disappointing meal this time, we will likely come back again to give it a second chance.

Great food. Well served. Lovely atmosphere. Shame about the automatic large service charge on food and drinks. I would have been happier to have chosen to pay the same amount in a tip, but it feels bad to have it automatically added and on top of expensive bottles of wine too. Does it all go to the staff?

1. Arrived early for drinks which were served quickly and tasted great. Friendly bar staff and hostess. 2. We were taken to our table after having ordered a bottle of wine which arrived after our waiter introduced himself. 3. We opted for mains only expecting to order desert afterward and both ordered the expensive wagyu beef. The Waiter had erroneously informed us it was 30% approx cheaper because he’d confused the price. We opted to continue anyway. 4. We saw others getting their food quickly and ours did not disappoint - it arrived very fast. Unfortunately, despite the waiter protesting he had seen it just come off the grill it was cool to the touch, and rare meaning the fat had not yet rendered. We did not enjoy our mains and was certainly not worth the extreme value, it was also B grade wagyu according to the waiter and I would have honestly preferred any other cut to what we received after choosing it. 5. Wine was not routinely poured from our carafe throughout and my partner needed me to pour some for her, which for c£100 a bottle I would have expected better service here. 6. We did not order deserts due to our disappointment and left to do this elsewhere
