Great food, but the waiter misunderstood us splitting an appetizer and steak. We didn’t realize until the bill came. If we were going to spend double expected, I would have preferred to try different dishes and split other items

Little restaurant was a great find! Food was superb! Our waitress Angelika (hopefully spelt right), was amazing all night, service was also brilliant, she’s a credit to the restaurant!

Dinner with the children after work, daughter declared it amazing! Sorry Gaucho, 2nd best steak ever - 1st place stays with a Tui Waterworld resort in Antalya Turkey a la carte restaurant, however best in London so far!!

Service is exceptional. I received call prior to the booking to reconfirm by a lovely lady. We were warmly greeted on arrival, also mentioning the special occasion (friends birthday). We had such a wonderful time. The food was delicious & staff were sensational. We look forward to come back again soon!

You can't fault Gaucho for food and service. We are one meat eater and one reluctant vegetarian, and we both had a feast. Our waitress was attentive, they even did a special inscription on our desserts as it was for our anniversary. The restaurant wasn't particularly buzzing but that's Friday night in the City for you, the buzz is in the West End, and the quiet suited us fine.

I’m a huge champion of the Gaucho chain and may have eaten in various locations 50/60 times over the past 20 years but hands down this was the worst experience I’ve had. It wasn’t a particular hot day but man it was stuffy. Our waiter was great at first and then just seemed to disappear into the back serving a large private booking for long periods of time. The worst was the steak! Over cooked and burnt, yes burnt! The chef obviously hoping this little piece of leather which was the so called Sirloin he had served me would would be fine as long as I didn’t turn it over! On side was like charcoal. At first I didn’t want to complain but it really was inedible. Expecting a fairly quick turn around I was surprised to have to not only chase but walk up to the kitchen and ask where me new steak was. ZERO sense of urgency from any staff member. Hugely disappointing and I would never go back. Also stay well away from their new take on a Peruvian classic, Seabass Cerviche. Slab of raw fish with no real dressing, utterly disgusting.

Wife 50th birthday, we sat outside and initially well staffed and after ordering it seemed like all the staff went down stairs into the main restaurant and we were left on our own.

As always, the quality of the steaks and starters are excellent and the unique flavours reward hungry carnivores. Unfortunately the service was distinctly below par, with certain menu items pushed too heavily, and a brusque manner The decor at Broadgate is also showing its age and needs a refresh, and the lift has been out of service for more than a year now

Very good atmosphere and really good service ! We’ve been served by Angelika, very kind waitress, she knows the wine and the food perfectly.. very discreet but here as we need.. The food is amazing, tasty and very nice. Highly recommended

I hadn’t been to this branch of Gaucho before, but chose it as we would be in the area. It’s currently in the middle of a building site, which was a bit concerning, but once you were down in the restaurant, there was no evidence of this. We had booked for 6pm but were ready at 5pm. This was no problem and we were shown to our table straight away. I did find it difficult to hear the waitress over the sound of other tables nearby. We were asked about food intolerances (gluten) and allergies (nuts) which applied to us. Ingredients were checked with the chef and adjustments made where needed. This was a 21st birthday outing for my daughter, rounding off our day out. She’s a very fussy eater, so praise from her is praise indeed. The waitress brought the steaks to the table explaining which cut best suited our requirements,. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. My daughter had a starter which was quite filling, so was unable to finish the last mouthful of steak. I can’t comment on desserts as we had no room left!

The staff continually told us that they wanted the table back at 1945hrs… over seven times… we had one guest who was late and one who was 8 months pregnant… they didn’t care.. they collected our glasses and told us that we could finish our drinks upstairs.. including serving the desserts to us at a table standing up!
