9/10The food was very good. Just not quite warm enough for my liking and my fillet was ever so slightly overcooked. Ambience and service fabulous. Just not quite perfect enough to warrant the price tag.

7/10the place is nic3, in Cardiff center, easy to reach. the athmosphere would be nice if only the music wasn't too loud to even have a chat with my partner. the aervice is good but it's difficult to prroperly hear what the waiter is saying (due to the music). the food per se is not bad at all (we didn't have steak), but the portions are quite small. If you get a main, always get a side too. the wine was good. the bill was fair, especially with the discounts.

6.5/10The fillet was cold on the salad that was small. Main course came too quickly and bill incorrect as complimentary cocktails charged for and the service tip far too high.

5.5/10Food and drink good. Lighting too bright. Music too loud. Front of house staff very rude and disinterested, but redeemed somewhat by an attentive waiter. £1100 bill and felt like we were on a conveyor belt. We’ll book elsewhere next time

4.5/10Myself and my wife tried the ancho sharing steak- Undercooked even though we asked for medium and fatty so didn’t feel like we had our moneys worth. Ambience and vibe nice Position sizes on side dishes small Overall not our best experience and pasture still our favorite steak restaurant in Cardiff next to assador 44 Sorry won’t be rushing back. Manager asked us how our experience was after rheyd taken my bill

10/10Steak was very good and cooked exactly as we requested. One of our guests said it was the best steak he had ever had. Service and knowledge regarding their food and wine by the waiting staff was very good too. We had a fabulous time.

9.5/10Muted ambiance, subtle but tasteful decor, limited but sufficient menu and superb wine list. Reassuringly expensive, possibly exceedingly so. But, am I happy to pay for it? Absolutely yes. Top 5 steaks I've ever had. And, I've had a few.......

We visited for my birthday, the service was exceptional, steaks brought to the table and explained which was better for your liking before ordering. Everything was very clean and nothing was too much bother. The food out of this world amazing. Topped off with a signed birthday card from.all staff with a cheeky little money off card for next time 😊

Absolutely perfect 21st birthday celebration for my son at Gaucho Cardiff. Beautiful food and beautiful atmosphere. Our waitress was impeccable. Definitely recommend to anyone.

9/10Great service and atmosphere, beautiful venue and the sides are amazing. Strangely, I found my rump quite chewy and flavourless, so actually, the steak was the only thing to let the meal down.

5/10Really disjointed service food arriving at different times - tbe 7oz steak cost over £100 and looked more like a 3oz steak. The food had way too much salt on. I couldn't eat some of the food due to the amount of salt. Atmosphere ambience very good. Deserts dreadful the chocolate brownie was awful. Much better restaurants in Cardiff offering better for less money! Overpriced for the quality of food and service - sadly 😪
