My daughter opted for the Gaucho sampler. Whilst the steaks were fabulous, the service wasn’t. My daughter was made to feel awkward and no explanation as to what steak was what, was not forthcoming.

7.5/10We have eaten here several times before and have always been impressed by both the food and service, however, the service this time was very slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. It was very disappointing as we were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter was aware of this.

10/10Lunch date Absolutely amazing . Very warm welcome from Roman who took our coats and then looked after us for the duration of our meal . Extremely attentive pouring our wine and water when needed . Ordered châteaubriand which was amazing . No starter just olives and sweet was lovely . Chocolate brownie and chocolate torte . Whole experience was fabulous . Thank you so much we will be back .

5/10Table was booked weeks ago but we got the worst table in the restaurant. It was in the middle of the room so there were guests going to and from the toilet and staff flying around past us all meal. It was not relaxing at all. We arrived and were told the table wasn’t ready so we should sit in the bar, which we did. Drinks order was taken ages after we arrived. We were then asked to confirm the name on the booking which was odd. Then we got the worst table. Sounds like they hadn’t registered the booking and put us on the ‘spare’ table. We’ve been a few times before and it was brilliant. Tonight was poor and we won’t return.

From walking in the door, the service was excellent. The staff could not have been more kind and caring. The dining room is very comfy, and the table was set away from others enough to be able to talk to each other without noticing any noise from others around. Drinks were delivered quickly, and we were given time to view our menu and make our choices. Staff came to show us the different cuts of meat and explained more about them. The food was exceptional, and the service was just as great. We will definitely be back. I Recomed the fillet steak, (medium)mash, and the red wine jus. 5+ stars.

7.5/10Food was nice and not badly priced. There was a good range of prices on the menu. Wine pricey. Was charged £5.50 for a bottle of water without being asked if we wanted it. Tap water would have been fine if they had asked if we wanted water. However it was poured before we realised. Matre d had a full conversation with us about where we were from and accents etc as we aren’t from Leeds. When we got to the table, he asked if we’d travelled far!! If he wasn’t interested in listening, why have the conversation? It was Saturday night with a family in with two dogs which were nearly on the table - I don’t think this should have been allowed.

3/10Leeds is a vibrant city with lots of choices of great restaurants and classed gaucho as one of them? Well after my experience with my partner last night will not be returning! The food was all cold as if it had been stood from starter to mains had to send my mash back that cold! At £80 per head this is unacceptable it has to be perfect and was miles away from that! Competition in Leeds between restaurants is huge and gauchos need to review there strategy to survive in my eyes? I won’t be returning!

10/10It's like a hidden gem in the city centre of Leeds. Atmosphere is really nice. Very elegant interior. The service was 2nd to none and so was the food. We were made feel welcome and very special. Will definitely come back to enjoy Gaucho experience. Thank you

The music playing was excellent ,the aroma in the air was so divine and the presentation of the food was very eye pleasing all in all a beautiful restaurant with very helpful staff ,thank you again for a top meal kind regards michelle and jason 😀 ps we mention that we had been together for 9 years and we were surprised with 2 glasses of champagne xx

10/10One of our favourite places in Leeds. Food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Busy but not loud or overbearing. For us, this was just perfect cannot go lower than a 10/10
