7.5/10The schnitzel and the Black Forest cake and cheesecake we tried were ok, wouldn’t get it again. The crème brûlée was nice. The grilled salmon was lovely.

8/10All schnitzels are too dry, duck ( mains ) could be more tender ( too chewy ), all Wurstes are lacking flavour ( generally tasteless), disappointing. Salmon is always a safe option. Cocktails are 5 stars. Deserts are superb.

+2Very nice surroundings, had a weird encounter (lady guiding me in told me to sit at one table and then she told me to go to next table which was not nice ! - please don't confuse your customers..did not appreciate that!). I ended up going back to original table! tight seating areas. Also we saw a menu with many sections online and we were not given this (maybe it was evening) but we would have missed out the lovely choices. we asked for the large Cefe menu. Apart from that, I was very impressed by the structure of the restaurant, the other patient waiters and waitresses who were professional and kind. The food and desserts were immaculate and I tried their pork snitzhel- omg it was huge w the fried egg, very nice touch. I would go again!

7.5/10I tried to order a medium rare hamburger but i could only have a well done burger. Sadly not for me So had sausages instead, which were fine. Service could have been more attentive but atmosphere was great

7/10The food and the restaurant is good. However when I mentioned that I booked via “The Fork” app, they did not find my booking…. I also showed the email confirmation. They still did not find it. Finally they told me to take a seat, so it was ok - not a good start. At the bill, they automatically charge 13.5% service charge (I would have preferred to be asked the percentage)…. But it is still ok. However I also noticed a price difference between the menu vs the receipt. Specifically the “Konig Ludwig Weiss Beer” was £7.5 on the menu, and was £8 on the receipt (I have a photo about both! So not a coincidence). Also I have seen in the receipt: “a discretionary £1 has been added to your bill to support StreetSmart’s campaign helping homeless…..” - nobody asked me about this either…. The beer price difference also an interesting thing….

10/10Food and service consistently good. We were seated downstairs on this occasion. We both felt that the tables were too close together as the server (who was very petite) barely got between tables. It was the weekend and extremely busy and the ambience was still great.

5.5/10The food was grim . The staff were very good except for the manageress who treated my husband like a naughty school boy when he went to a quiet place to make a phone call which was not cordoned off or signposted as out of bounds .she was quite unpleasant . I will never eat there again and will actively discourage my friends . Dreadful . Very disappointing.

10/10The setting is really fun. The staff were super helpful - I have a food intolerance and they really kindly adapted a dish for me. Food was yummy! It was my 3rd visit and it’s been top notch every time.

9/10A lovely meal to catch up with friends before Christmas. The restaurant was accommodating with one of our group arriving late and staff were friendly. Overall the food plus drinks is expensive but great as a treat! Easy location for everyone to get to as well.
