Nice ambient, fast service. Reasonable price/quality. I had a ribeye that unfortunately was cooked on a grill that was either cold or wasn’t clean so it was burnt.

Love Giovanni’s! It’s a properly authentic, independent Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and the service excellent! I walked past it daily for years before I set foot inside and continue to kick myself for not doing it sooner! Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food and wine was as good as it always is, and although I’d not eaten there for a couple of years (as I’m retired, so no longer work in London near Giovanni’s), they immediately recognised me and the very friendly staff made me and the 4 old colleagues I ate with feel very much at home all the time we were there.

Nice Italian restaurant with good food. However I think they must be understaffed because the last 2 times I have been there the food has taken ages to arrive. For example 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our main courses.

We had an early dinner so it was very quiet, the service was good but slow to notice you needed something. The good quality was misty very good with the exception of the calamari- at £16 it was over priced and rubbery.

Great place for a business lunch where you can have a good conversation and great meal. The food is authentically italian, and really well prepared. Definitely recommend if you are near City Road or the Barbican and are looking for a nice lunch option.

Very nice staff, very friendly. The restaurant was clean, with nice Italian vibes. The service was very fast. Price ok for central London. Sad to see double cream in the carbonara… Disappointed that the bottle of Panna water (paid £4.95) was just a tap water refilled. The gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese and mushroom didn’t taste of Gorgonzola at all, but still good as a gnocchi with mushroom and cream. The fegato alla veneziana was very tasty and huge as a portion. The pizzas from the other customers table look very good too.

Very nice little restaurant just far enough away from Banking Land that it had a nice mix of customers! friendly and quick service and very courteous waiters. Food was lovely, good sized portions.

we were really impressed with this restaurant, it is tucked away and very unassuming but the food is delicious, the staff are so lovely and cant do enough for you and it is very nice inside. I would highly recommend a visit!
