Food was delicious all waiting staff great BUT do not book through the fork - our booking was never received at the restaurant. Luckily the restaurant wasn’t too busy and it was just two of us dining. The girls at the host desk were very nice about it all and sorted us a nice little table by the fire. We look forward to returning.

We ordered a couple of sandwiches from the app and got them, but was total they don't usually serve them at the weekend, however as we could place the order they didn't want to disappoint us. That was really appreciated as a lot of places wouldn't have done that. The food was decent and sitting outside on a sunny day was perfect for a quick bite.

Arrived at the venue only to be told that we hadn't booked a table. I have the emails to confirm that the table was booked. I even replied to the confirmation that was sent through the morning of the booking to confirm that we still required the table.

My wife and I had the three meat roast with an extra side of cauliflower cheese. The pork and beef were excellent but the chicken was dry the cauliflower was watery mush and the waitress took this off the bill. The other vegetables and the Yorkshire pudding were nice.

Great place. Good menu. Great staff and service. One issue to be aware of. Service charge of 10% is automatically applied. Dark ambience made it impossible to see this on the bill and I was told no service charge had been applied. I therefore gave a gratuity of 10% only to find 10% already applied when I got home. My mistake, Their error. Beware. Service worth 10%, but 20% as occurred was unacceptable.

From the moment we arrived I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff ..very professional The whole place is full of character The food was awesome .. As was the wine . Would definitely go again ..I took my loving mum …she told all her friends bless her

We enjoyed our visit , it was noticeable however that there wasn’t enough staff for the amount of customers . Only four front of house for the evening .. We ordered the bread and olives to start but no olives available so hummus was offered instead . I ordered the fish and chips and this was very good . My partner ordered the vegan curry which wasn’t available due to lack of aubergine . The replacement dish of cauliflower wedge was very good and full of flavour , Overall service and food were good . Would recommend

Hear great things about this place , the actually restaurant is lovely looks good smells good front of house is welcoming waiter are attentive . I was expecting great things value for money 3 course for £ 24.99,, I guess you get what you pay for tho the actual food wasn’t good , the chicken tasted very dry like it had been re heated and had a bad after taste . It came out quick I guess you can’t have it all but I just expected more considering the high standards everywhere else .

I felt for the staff there today it was hot and busy. However yoy have paying customers, if there is going to be a wait tell the customers BEFORE seating them. Service today was dire, food was even worse. Not the place to go for Sunday dinner. Run out of ALL roasts BEFORE 5PM terrible experience, total lack of communication between staff, terrible food, terrible service. NOT the place to eat on a Sunday!!!!!

We usually have our monthly gathering there. It is a nice venue , good food , nice waiters most importantly it has parking. I had salmon , I found it very nice . The only downside was it was too salty and I was still a bit hungry after having that dish. Both ladies near me had fish cake, they loved it but they also find it a bit cold and salty . Hope u put less salt on the food and leave them on the table in case any one need it . Thanks
