10/10Very tasty food and excellent attentative staff whe were very friendly. The chef came out with some little nibbles before starters and a small hot drink with pepper that was surprisingly nice. Would recommend a visit.

10/10Nice venue, excellent staff service, fabulous food. Nan breads, popadoms, pickles and curries were full of flavour. Cobra & Kingfisher beers on tap. Was hoping for a more exciting haggis pakora starter but on the whole I would definitely recommend and return.

9.5/10Excellent Nepalese/Indian restaurant located within walking distance of the city center but some distance from the high traffic tourist area. The room is nothing fancy but the food is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable.

10/10We had a delicious meal at Gurkha! A great menu with all of the dishes that we are used to ordering in similar restaurants, along with others we hadn't tried before. Since we were just visiting Edinburgh, this was our one chance to eat at Gurkha and we wish we could have tried more of the offerings. Everything we had was so tasty and had high quality ingredients. The service was excellent as well.

10/10Truly a Hidden gems on Edinburgh. Must Visit place for authentic Indian and Nepalese Food. The curry was soo delicious that it disappears in mouth. The staffs were polite as well as disciplined. Definitely a must visit place❣️

10/10I Visited Edinburg few days ago. I had seen reviews of this restaurant and visited here. The Chicken jalfrezi was mouth watering and the ambience and service was great. I highly recommend all to visit who are keen to have Indian and Nepalese cuisines

10/10Very easy to get to either by walking or by public transport. Had a lovely walk through the Meadows before a fantastic meal at the restaurant. Nice restaurant with amazing food, wine and service. Have been to lots of Indian restaurants in the city and this was the best meal we have had.
