10/10Amazing food, we shared starters so could get different things and it was all phenomenal. I was torn between the buttermilk chicken, rice and a garlic naan- so delicious and flavoursome. We had the lunch, 2 courses with some extra sides and was all less than £25pp can’t go wrong! Staff were so helpful and friendly a couple of tables over had a drama queen and kept talking down to one of the wait staff for an accident that had occurred, clearly upsetting the wait staff, who had already done everything she could to rectify the situation and inform her manager. They carried on through service with a smile and I believe the drama queen got what she wanted after by way of a free meal or something. 10:10 would recommend

10/10The food was absolutely amazing, menu not extensive but that made choices easier. The venue was stunning and service exceptional. We would definitely recommend the Gurkha Fire to anyone and will be returning soon.

10/10My first visit to this restaurant and I was really impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent. Authentic, fresh and full of flavour. Will definitely eat here again

6/10Hi Felt the main menu didn’t have many options Could have more choice. The food was brought out too fast, needed a bit more time to relax and enjoy the vibes. Too rushed. The food served was good. Service was ok. Something different. Steve

7.5/10We had a lovely evening at the Gurkha fire last night, the food was lovely and the staff were so welcoming. The only challenge we had was the live music was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation at the table. It was such a shame as the evening had been amazing up to that point. Would go back but only if the sound is turned down the acoustics are really good in the restaurant you don’t need two huge speakers in this space.

This was my first visit but won’t be my last!!! The food was excellent and presented nicely. The waitress asked is it was all good, the owner popped by and had a chat. The chef came out at the end and asked if there was anything he could improve. The food was fantastic and on that alone I will go back. The spices were tasty and the food was clearly fresh and everything was done from scratch. I can not recommend this place highly enough!

10/10This was our first visit to Gurkha Fire, on recommendation from someone else. And we were delighted! The food and service were both excellent. The owners came round and spoke to us, timing it while we were awaiting our food rather than eating it. We had attention at the right times and were left to our own devices at the right times, with staff quick to notice when we did want something and were prompt, helpful and pleasant. We'll be back!

10/10I would like to say that we all had a really lovely experience at Gurka Fire. The food was delicious and the staff were all a perfect measure of friendly, attentive and engaging. Without a doubt we will be back and will recommend. A real gem of a restaurant in a lovely historical Chatham building. Thank you to the great staff for making our afternoon so enjoyable.

9.5/10The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The wine was good and the dessert was great. At the beginning of the evening it was quite loud but by the end it was fine. I feel that the idea of using an old fire station is novel and I would certainly recommend this restaurant to others.
