2/10Staff didn't arrive until after 1 pm. Nothing ready in bar. Sunday roast offered on website but was informed you no longer do. Won't be returning

2/10Food was bloody awful Steaks just full of fat and not cooked to how ordered. Vegetables should be offered not just chips and a bit of Lettuce Sticky toffe pudding was a microwave one no dates in it and over microwaved so all rubbery. When asked for more sauce came out cold. Not a good experience at all and will definitely not be going back or recommending to others. Needs a decent chef that knows how to cook fresh food and throw the microwave out.

4/10The ambience was awful, with a TV blaring, and no daylight. The two waiters were friendly and pleasant but incredibly slow. No other customers were eating so there was no excuse for the appalling slowness. The pizzas had clearly been made elsewhere and heated up. My salad was good.

3.5/10we left after having one bite of the starters. The calamari tasted like it had been cooked 5 times over. Real shame as it was the only child free night we had had for a while and the decoration of the pub is nice.

4.5/10My food was all very over cooked, we were in a party of 9, food came out at all different times and some didn’t come out until others had finished. Shame because usually so good at halt and pull.

9.5/10Service was brilliant, it was a nice venue and food was good and value and delicious. The only negative was that the background music was a little on the loud side and the speakers were definitely damaged giving off a tinny shrieky sound

9/10The food was excellent - no nonsense. Good value for money. The staff were friendly without being over-familiar. But our thanks must go to George who made our evening complete by bringing outside two very comfortable chairs for us so tht we could enjoy the Redhill to Salfords 'classic car cruise' on such a pleasant evening. Can't stand wooden backless benches - so uncomfortable to sit on, the same goes for the ridiculous high stools. How's a short person like me supposed to climb up? Suggest give George an immediate raise. Thanks again to all the staff.

8.5/10we were greeted by John and made very very welcome, he couldn't do enough for us. ambience a bit dull although to be fair we visited on a Monday late lunch time and they weren't busy, having said that a bit of background music would have helped. This is our local pub and have visited many times since it became halt and pull, as previous reviews have stated they seem to be changing clientele to a younger generation but our last visit a few weeks ago on a Friday night seemed to have a good mix of younger generation at top end playing pool and drinking cocktails with us "less youthful ones' enjoying meals and drinks at the lower end - hopefully this can continue so we can all enjoy the pub

10/10The guy at the bar was very friendly, and there was a nice, calm atmosphere. We had plenty of space to watch football. Toilets nice and clean. We will definitely come back!!!

5/10Went out for a meal, bar was full of underage drinkers, shouting and swearing felt more than a youth club than a hotel bar, I suggest you give this place a miss unless you 15 yrs age
