7/10I checked my receipt afterwards and I realised staff made a mistake and couldn’t get the simple maths right and charged me too much, also on their website reviews says that the service charge are optional but they didn’t even asked me if I would like to pay .

4/10food was okay. There was no check backs and toilets were damp without loo roll. service could have been better as we enjoyed the food at dany's the other sister restaurant. improvement is necessary.

This is a cosy little restaurant nestled just off the main High St in West Hampstead with friendly service and great tasting food. We had the aubergine dips, pickles and olives to start with their signature sesame seed bread - all delicious. My main coursev was recommended by the waitress - the Zereshk Polow ( slow cooked chicken leg and rice) and was definitely a winner.

5/10I visited this restaurant with friends, and two of us asked to take away our leftover food. After 15–20 minutes, staff informed us the food had been mistakenly thrown away. They offered to prepare fresh replacements of ANYTHING we want, but upon arriving home, we found the portions were very small. Concerned about hygiene, I discarded the food, fearing it might not have been freshly prepared. When I called the restaurant the next day, the manager admitted my leftover had been sent to a delivery customer, not thrown away, and confirmed we were given only half portions despite their promise. He was dismissive, rude, and even blamed me for not returning the food at midnight instead of discarding it. The manager also blamed his staff, which raised concerns about how they are treated under his leadership. This experience highlighted serious issues with hygiene, service, and management professionalism.

Small mistakes like this can happen on a busy night, and last night was indeed very busy, as it often is. During our phone conversation, I offered to remove the service charge, but you wanted additional dishes to be prepared and sent to you, which I didn’t feel was reasonable given the situation as you already have had your left over food which freshly prepared again but your main concern is why we didn’t give you full portions. Our 5-star hygiene rating reflects the high standards we maintain, and we value our hardworking staff who ensure a great experience for our guests. 10/10We were there for a birthday dinner. 8 people. We had a lot of food, drinks, and loved every single bit of it. The staff is all very attentive, nice and friendly, and we left happy and satisfied. Thank you

10/10Lovely restaurant in West Hamstead with vegetarian options. We loved the food and were pleased to see that vegetarian options were available. We were sitting outside and that was lovely. The only thing that we didn’t like is that the menu you see outside has outdated prices. Once you sit down, you get the menu with prices that are at least 10% more which is not alright. Otherwise it was good, staff were friendly and service was fine too.

10/10Had an amazing time at Hana! The restaurant is beautiful (nicer than the pictures), the staff were excellent. Asma (I hope I spelt your name correctly), was so friendly and helped us with recommendations on the menu. The food was brilliant - meat really tender, rice cooked perfectly and make sure you try the falooda ice cream for dessert! Thanks for a great night, will definitely be back!

We had gone in with every intention of having a starter and a main course. When I ordered the first starter I was told, that was not available that day and to pick another - Mitzi Ghassemi. This is smoked aubergine with free range eggs. When the dish was served I noticed there was no egg in it. So I checked if it was the same dish only to be told yes but they decided to avoid the eggs and they do that in summer. Seriously!!! We decided to leave after the starter as either the response or the fact that they could casually cut out half the ingredients and not tell you in advance put us off!

There was a small mix-up after we asked for a starter to be served with our main, and the wait for the bill at the end of the night was longer than we would have expected. These details aside, a great experience and would thoroughly recommend visiting for a meal.

10/10We really enjoyed our evening at Hana. The chicken was full of the most amazing flavour! Our waitress was most accommodating as we are both gluten intolerant. The chef met our needs in the nicest way. We will definitely return. Thank you for such a lovely meal
