We had an afternoon tea which would have been lovely had it been hot rather than luke warm. We would have told someone if they'd asked and would have ordered more drinks. Think the problem is not enough staff. Shame because it could be lovely with some tlc & investment.

Food was nice but Service was shocking....one waitress trying to do everything show people to seats, take orders, pour drinks, bring out food, take payment. Eventually two guys appeared to help but it was too little too late....

Kind of what we expected for Harry Ramsden. Sightly sticky tables and food was good and well prepared though could have done with being a bit hotter as parts of the meal were warm.

Harry ramsdens used to be good 20 years ago now it is disgusting. The batter is soft the fish tastes disgusting and the chips were not fully cooked. Never eat there again.

We had ordered a small cod and chips, and were very surprised to find a quarter of a fillet of fish. Very disappointed, especially as Harry Ramsdan is famous for fish and chips

No record of our booking, sat at a mucky table, warm rose was served and after 45mins waiting we cancelled our order and left. The restaurant was not busy & 2 tables who came in after us were served their food. Very disappointed & hungry

Portion size is tiny, fish was over cooked, food is over priced and is not value for money. Have a takeaway from your local, for value for money. We will not be going back.

Portion sizes greatly reduced since our last visit. Price had increased but fish roll & especially dessert sizes had halved. No longer value for money. Will mot be having afternoon tea again

Lovely food when it arrived which took quite a while. The chef who brought our food out was very friendly. I wish I could say the same for the manager and other staff. Very unwelcoming and unfriendly.

First time having an afternoon fish & chip tea. Service was poor from start to finish no staff present in the restaurant at long intervals, the food was a long wait but good and tasty apart from the buns that had dried out so hard. No atmosphere in the restaurant, a little background music would be nice

There seemed to be insufficient staff initially and those there were very busy seeing people to their tables plus taking food orders at a separate counter. It took longer than expected to be served but we were not in any rush so it didnt matter. We were very happy with our fish meals and also the puddings and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Booked an afternoon tea online got to the front door and turned away as they didn’t have the products available ! Utter none sense the chef couldn’t be bothered to get the fryer on Prob late for his shift at revenge

Such a great birthday meal at Harry Ramsden's in Brighton! A group of 4 of us pensioners had pensioner's meals and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Brilliantly cooked and served in a friendly, timely way. Actually the service was brilliant and the member of staff went out of his way to make sure everything was exactly right for us. Many thanks!

We had lunch booked for 8 people at 1pm. They were amazing when we got there. We all looked like drowned rats as the rain was lashing down. The staff got us seated and happy. Cups of tea came quickly and food ordered. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and so tasty. The two guys serving us were cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou. We had a lovely lunch
