4.5/10When booking online, Requested a table by the window so we had a sea view but on arrival told by the manager there’s no 2-person tables by a window available only large tables & instead seated on the main entrance corridor (with loads of people bumping into our table whilst we ate) then saw plenty of 2-person tables next to the windows some unoccupied, asked to be moved but the manager said it was too late & they were reserved. Again explained we had reserved one but he still refused 🤷🏽♂️No-one sat at the tables all the time we were there 😡very unprofessional.

10/10A great beach view dining experience. Service, food and presentation was tip top. A very enjoyable meal in picture postcard location. Location was busy but still lots of seating available inside and outside on a sunny midweek lunch time

10/10A lovely place to be, looking out onto the beach with a throng of people enjoying the sea front. The staff were friendly & served us within about 15 mins of ordering. The salad bar is excellent & free to top up. Great taste too! The food was hot & well cooked. All 3 of us were completely satisfied with the service, ambience & food quality. The loos were clean & didn't smell, which completed a good dining experience.

10/10We were a party of 6 and all meals came out of kitchens together, hot and tasty, waiting staff were attentive and not over bearing, in all a very good experience.

7.5/10Really great choice of food, fresh and good service. Only issue was the air conditioning was so good we were freezing! But was given a cup of tea as a compliment.

9/10We always pop down to this restaurant on the front in Bournemouth- love to eat while looking at the beach/sea! All good apart from the welcome at the door by the shift supervisor - who completely ignored us for around 7 minutes, no smile or welcome! Good job we had Dawn serving us, who was smiley and lovely!!

4/101st opinions on arrival weren't great. Clearly not enough staff to cover a VERY busy lunch shift. I asked a passing server if, due to her severe arthritis causing her pain, my 78yr old mum (I had bought her there for her birthday lunch) could have a seat whilst we waited to be 'checked in' for our pre-ordered booking, & the response I got was a face palm with a growled "can you not Just Be Patient"! My mum was so surprised that she suggested we should go elsewhere. When the 'self dressed manager/supervisor (as opposed to Harvester uniform and, I'm sorry, but ripped jeans, a stained shirt & no ID didn't help the over all look!) came to cgwck the reservation & I mentioned about the above, he simply ignored it, grabbed menus and sped off saying 'come on then)! Once finally seated, over 10 mins late, I must recognise our server Dale, who's attention was exemplary, although, as with all his colleagues, he was clearly ridiculously under pressure. I would have given a higher '/10' because of Dale's great service & friendliness but am so annoyed at the 'patient' comment, as it really spoiled the visit. Food: Enough for the price and got a doggy bag for what we couldn't manage. However, it could have been a. Hotter and b. Fresher.

6/10The service was first class. The food was pretty awful. I had a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken tasted as if it was made of rubber and been defrosted, after cooking from a fridge, taste was awful. The salad was uninspired, and was inferior to the fresh food available from the salad bar. We did not stop for dessert.

9.5/10As usual staff and service excellent, although fairly busy food came in quick time and of very good quality. Sat inside but had a beautiful view of the bay. Great value for money we'll recommended.

2/10Restaurant was very busy , staff didn’t look happy to be there . Was hard to catch any attention of the waitress. They run out of ribs but our waitress told us about it when we already finish our starter … service was bad, food didn’t taste great ( like everything they cook in dip oil together chicken or calamari) … very disappointed with the visit in this place . Wouldn’t recommend!

5.5/10The lady at reception made us feel very welcome and was friendly. Unfortunately after that the service was disappointing. We ordered on line but after 30 mins had to go to chase up our wine which we got ourselves from the counter. The deserts were brought out after another 15 minutes, before we had had our mains. We then had to chase up our mains which was a further 15mins. The chicken was very nice. We had to chase up our desserts! All in all the waiting time was unacceptable despite it not being fully busy!! There were staff standing about not doing anything. The plates weren’t cleared until the end of our visit. We had booked in advance. Such a shame as other Harvesters I have visited seem to offer a much better service. It was for a special occasion and the position by the beach was great.

7.5/10The restaurant had a very good location and the choice of meals on the menu was good but unfortunately about 50%+ of the menu was unavailable. Not wishing to have a burger we decided to have fish and chips. The fish was very good but the chips were a litter overcooked.

8/10Haven’t been to the Durley chine Harvester in a while. It was a sunny day and could see people being turned away as the restaurant is facing the beach. So I would book to avoid disappointment. The food was good and fair pricing. One thing we were confused about was the salad bar was not self service. This is a hang over from covid and you would have thought we could move on from this now as the salad pre meal is one of the appetisers you look forward to. The staff do this for you. Come on Harvester sort this out! Other than that service, food and price as expected and fun time had by all.

7/10This is our local Harvester and we do like a Harvester. The last few times the Halloumi fries (I love Halloumi) were overcooked, they pretty much always are here but other Harvesters seem to cook them beautifully. It's my fault I haven't made a complaint but I feel like I shouldn't... I've seen people complain before and it's not met with the greatest of attitudes!! Our server, Hannah, was lovely, polite and friendly. It is a shame because this is our local and possibly the Harvester with the best sea views but certainly not the best food unfortunately.

10/10We loved this place. Really 10 steps from the sea, this beautiful restaurant. Really good and tasty food and people working here were really kind, and they really made our time great. The food was tasty, delicious and a lot. The cheesecake was simply fantastic!

7/10Booked for 15.15pn Arrived on time.took 35mins to get seated another 20 to get a drink ordered 2x original combo for myself and the wife and fish fingers and chips with peas for our 2 toddlers one portion each in otherworld x2. Another 30 mins latter 1 combo and 1 f f and c turned up. 10 mins latter I wondered where the second portion of f f & C Was and my combo. Oh said the waitress I thought you were all sharing. I distinctly remember saying at the end of my point of ordering that's a combo each and fish finger and peas for each kid. Nothing about sharing either the combo or the kids meals.
