The surrounding is pleasant enough, but not enough to compensate food. Only starter was good. One main was tasteless, including sauce so it did not improve the flavour. In the MIX GRILL dish only chicken and fried egg were good. Steak, black pudding, gammon were tough, overcooked. Chips and sausage below average, bearable O.K. I will only visit again if I be really hungry and other pubs in 2 miles around will not let me in.

initial service was excellent, spotted my husband had disability issues so moved our table, however understaffed for a very busy Saturday night, which meant long waits in between courses and unfortunately cold food, suitably compensated by free puddings, great drinks and good variety of veggie and vegan dishes

Lovely welcome I assume was the Manager at the podium who clearly read my booking note that I had a disabled person with me and proceeded to seat us perfectly. Wonderful friendly waiting staff. Great banter and smiles between staff. Was a lovely atmosphere even the kitchen staff and salad staff were smiling enjoying their work. Stunning food as always. Top marks to all staff working on Tuesday

Chicken skewers were not available during our visit. Changed order to a buttermilk chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. When order arrived there had been a mix up and I was presented with the wrong meal. This was taken away and there was a considerable wait before the correct meal arrived which meant the rest of my party had finished their meals before mine arrived. We requested the desert menu, which took a while to arrive and then the server did not return to us so we decided against a desert as we felt it would take too long. Dissapointing

Very slow service but when we were served Matthew was very polite. I’m guessing they are very short staffed as we were asked to get a drink before being taken to our table but we were stood by the bar waiting to be served for around ten minutes as there was no one behind the bar!

Good service and food, though a little over priced. This Harvester definitely needs a revamp, it's tired and tatty, and feels stuffy and claustrophobic.

Last minute booking as I’ve had bad meals in the past. Staff were lovely but the food I had (halloumi skewers) was bland as the dressing was missing so I was offered a bottle of bbq sauce and for £15:00 !! Very disappointing

Shown to a dirty table that had obviously just been used. Had to ask for them to clean it , waitresses looked at each other . Felt awkward but in this climate with COVID felt unsafe from the outset ! Dirty !

Breakfast was fine but the coffee was lukewarm and we had to ask for hot water. The table was a bit sticky and the walls needed a wipe down as there was food/drink residue on them. Staff were friendly.
