8/10Very good food - can be hit and miss, very much hit this time. They redid my burger as hadn’t realised they put jalapeño sauce on!service very good and timely too.

7.5/10Our waitress Sinetta looked after us really well. The food was as expected and the ambience was as usual. The service was better than in 5 star restaurants and that is important; knowing you are being taken care of!

6.5/10Quite dark where we were seated, however the bulb above us was not working. Moved to another table & this was much better. Meal was ok, The ice cream pudding needed saucers as the sauce & ice cream runs down the side of the containers

5/10The starters and main meal were brought together so main was put in oven to keep warm and dry out!!!!! Most disappointing and no refund!

4/10Very disappointed in the quality today - half roasted chicken was over cooked so tough and dry and the chips were just disappointing. Others’ dishes included chewy steak, plus the Sundaes were mislabelled as just icecream with a drizzle of sauce on. The apple pie was quite tasteless with not much filling. Shame as frequent quite regularly and first time we’ve not enjoyed it.

10/10The stand out feature was the service, everyone was so very friendly and it made our whole dining experience a great one. We really enjoyed our meals, very extensive menu with lots of options.

10/10The food was excellent - my 94 yr old dad ate all his chili con carne, and would have licked the plate if he could, really enjoyed it. Service was pretty quick, other diners very friendly and chatty. Enjoy coming here - it's not 'fine dining', but we've never been disappointed, unlike a lot of more expensive places we go to.

10/10a good place for night out, food is excellent, the waitress is lovely, very friendly, although the kitchen has problems to provide the food in time but the environment is so good that you will not mind.

9/10Restaurant and food pretty much as expected , reasonable food , for a fare price , but the experience was improved by the staff , all were good , but Rhian was brilliant, we were a group of 'older clients' some very set in their ways and she was excellent.

4.5/10On arrival they had no knowledge of my booking even though I had an email confirmation & text message. Sat us down furthest away from the salad & self service drink area with our elderley mum & dad, not ideal. Then proceeded to sit a family of 3 young children right next to us so the ambiance was terrible. Ribs were hard and over cooked. Service from he makes waiter was good, friendly guy.

10/10The staff welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our table and asked us what drinks we would like straight away. A lovely member of staff came over with the menu choices and explained when to use the salad bar. Food was ordered and given in a timely manner, looked lovely and was nice and hot. The only downfall was another customer was being very rude and making a bit of a scene with regards to his bill. The staff were amazing trying to defuse the situation and apologised to us after for the disturbance. Overall both myself and my friend had a lovely afternoon and the food was delicious. Would recommend to family and friends.

3/10The restaurant had a terrible smell as we arrived. Asked the waitress what it was, and was told that it's the drains/sewage needing repairing. We had left it too late to rebook anywhere else for friends 60th birthday lunch, so went ahead hoping the smell wasn't throughout the restraunt, however, unfortunately, it was awful throughout. We couldn't eat our main course and left soon afterwards. Very disappointed. I've since contacted Harvester and had a reply from Manager, they apologised, saying that the problem is ongoing. I'm surprised that they hadn't shut the place down. Since then I've contacted head office and still awaiting a reply. I will never go there again, especially if the problem is ongoing.

9.5/10Arrived early, 2 hours to early. It was no problem to the lovely lady, sorry, don't have a name, but tall,slim and there between 4-6pm. Meals can be hit or miss with Harvester but this one was good, very hot and very tasty and we informed thew staff of this. Well done all.

10/10The horse and groom is a very local pub and restaurant to us so we use it quite a bit.we have always found the staff to be very polite and friendly.although at busy times some things are missing from the menu, last night was a very nice meal without too much waiting between courses Well done to carol and her team.

2/10We made our booking 10 days before our lunch through Forks app for 7 people of our family. We got confirmation from Forks app and also got reconfirmation by Harvester but it is so disappointed no booking was found when we got there.

9/10We know this restaurant so were confident in booking it for my sisters birthday meal. We were pleasantly greeted & seated quickly, our drinks order was relatively quickly taken & delivered, they were very busy. Our food order was taken & we partook of the salad bar, which was very good & well filled. Our meal came, very plentiful apart from my partners, he ordered scampi which was served on a bigger plate than mine & looked miniscule, in comparison, mine & my sisters were quite small plates & the food was overflowing. This being said the food was good. Sadly the service after was lacking, we waited ages before we could attract someone's attention to get our bill but I wouldn't hesitate to return.
