10/10This is my new favourite restaurant! My third visit tonight , food is excellent and on the way out noticed a dog in the bar area . I will be eating here weekly, so excited to bring my best friend with me next time.

2/10We had a table booked for 6pm. We were on time and ordered around 10 minutes later. We ordered 3 main courses and 2 garlic breads. The 4 small pieces of garlic bread arrived after about 25 minutes. At 7.15 we asked about the 3 main courses which hadn’t arrived and we were told that as we had had starters - the 4 small pieces of garlic bread- our mains order went to the back of the queue 😬 we paid for the drinks and garlic bread and left.

6/10The service was quite slow, even though it wasn’t a busy time (Monday lunchtime) though the staff were very pleasant and most of the food wasn’t very hot!

4.5/10Regular visitors to The Harvester and normally a good experience. However, today all did not go well. Very busy restaurant today which seemed to affect some staff and communication between. Some wrong meals arrived after a lengthy wait. Not a good replacement for once. Mixed grill generally overdone as was chicken. Hope it was just a blip as we will continue to be regular visitors.

10/10We brought with us a couple who had never been to a harvester before, they absolutely loved it, everything was prefect. Martin ordered scampi and he said it was the best scampi he had ever had both in flavour and quantity of the portion - well done

Eaten here several times, today was very busy, however the salad etc was full. They have moved the self service drinks machine to a easier location. We ordered a couple of meals, all very good, chicken moist and the steak very lean. Our order was taken quickly, the food a little slower than usual arriving, however they were busy. Chicken always good here.

10/10Met two cousins of mine . We had a really good time . Good catch up . The service was great . Food brilliant . My cousins had never been there before . We went with my suggestion. Thought it was great . Definitely be back . What was nice the staff didn’t keep interrupting us . Would recommend it to anyone .

4.5/10Restaurant quite empty for the time of day but good still took 30 minutes to arrive. Server forgot to bring drinks. Needed to remind after 20 minutes. Table dirty and sticky. Will not be returning.

Slight hiccup with the booking, had to call the restaurant as they booked us on an earlier night, this has never happened before with a fork booking. They sorted and managed to move the booking. The restaurant was much quieter during the week than at a weekend, and the salad bar was pretty well stocked, although they had no fire cracker sauce. The meals were good and enough chicken to bring some home for lunch, I ordered the triple combo. Served pretty quickly and handy to nip to the shops after, which again were very quiet, so home before 8 fed and shopping done.

10/10We were promptly made welcome with table ready as expected. Staff very attentive. Cheerful ambiance in keep with PINK concert. Pub food of good quality. Nice location just near Bolton Stadium but check on restriction on parking length if attending an event. Greatly recommended and will come back with anticipated pleasure.

6.5/10There hardly any salad left on the salad bar and it was only 7pm, no bread rolls and no salad sauces in the pots either. We asked about it and were told there was none left. Our steaks came with onion rings that were so burnt they disintegrated when you tried to put your fork in them. Over the many years I've been coming this is the only time I've experienced it so I'll still come again, I just wanted to share this unfortunate occasion

6/10The food was good as usual but Service not as good as usual but it was very very cold Seems non of the regular staff seemed to be present. A bit disappointed as we’ve always had a good experience at Harvester.
