Restaurant wasn't too busy. We've never been on a Saturday before, we usually dine during the week. I am usually happy but was quite disappointed this time. The salad bar was pretty low on everything. The rolls were not very fresh. Wait time between courses was a bit longer than expected. When the mains arrived , one steak was undercooked and the other was overcooked. We both asked for medium. The chicken was so dry we were unable to eat it. Condiments were low, there was no salt and pepper on the table and the ketchup bottles were empty. The spot lights above the table were far too bright. The wait staff were lovely though. Couldn't fault them. They were clearly run off their feet and short staffed.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful to us as we dined with family with physical disability. Cassie the waitress was patient and very kind in helping us with out meal.

Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. A welcome break from working at home. Great welcome, and great table service. It was very quiet and I got placed in a great window seat. Staff perfectly attentive and the meal was fantastic. Taste, presentation and price (o took advantage of a 50% off deal) It was also nice to see that preparations were taking place for some routine maintenance. A very welcome break from working, and was even invited to stay as long as I wanted afterwards taking advantage of the unlimited drink option. That was a lovely touch. I like to here, it’s local and good value. The staff are always really engaging.

Terrible service. Manger was rude on arrival. Lot of puddings were not available. Had to chase staff to clear table. Who rather preferred a cup of tea then serve us. Took 2 and half hours for 2 courses.

We have been to this restaurant a few times and find their food very good especially the fish and chips . The staff are very courteous and helpful and we will be going again.
