7.5/10We arrived a few minutes late due to traffic issues. They were unable to find my booking! However it was early in the evening so we were seated in our preferred table. Drinks and food were ordered fairly promptly but food took longer than expected as it was early evening and not busy. Food arrived later and was correct however my chicken skewers were hardly warm. I called a staff member to to report the issue. Ellie apologised took my plate away and said she would ask the manager if something could be done. A fresh plate was delivered hot, unfortunately one of the group had almost finished their meal. When the bill arrived it was a little less than expected, I added a £10.00 gratuity as the apology was offered and fresh food replaced without issues.

6.5/10The steak was so tough that it scratched the diamond om my fiancé's engagement ring, on accidental contact. 11 on the Moh's hardness scale. Your staff must be tempted to try an employer who has higher standards for their products. They must be continually apologising for this pathetic attempt at something edible. Who is your meat buyer? Why is he/she still in a job?

6/10We arrived at the restaurant at 12.45 on schedule, when we booked in we were told that there was no heating in the restaurant, we therefore had two choices to turn round and leave or stay and have our food with our coats on, we decided to stay, and the staff were good and the food was good, but we were not comfortable having to sit with our coats on and cold.

3.5/10Having ordered our meals we were then told half the ingredients werent available so had to reorder then waited over an hour for our food which was at best adiquate. therefore would not go there again,

6.5/10It seems the majority of staff were teenagers lacking in experience. I had a cranberry juice in a glass which looked liked it had not been washed to which I sent back. However the food was hot and cooked well.

4/10We told waitress what salad items we wanted and she gave us less than half a bowl i was shocked, I couldn't believe there was roughly 8 sweetcorn bits 3 black olives 2 strands of red peppers and a teaspoon of coleslaw. We were then given a grey roll that was posing as a brown roll and was clearly still frozen as it was solid in middle and sticky on the outside. We ordered garlic dough balls to go with our main course and they came out as we reached the end of our meal, they were dry with no garlic butter. Through our meal we asked for another bread roll and thought we would have white rolls to see if they were any better but again they were fetched from the back of the kitchen and still frozen inside. Dessert of treacle sponge was very good, espresso was cold and to top of the cold coffee I was given half a glass of cold milk in case i wanted to make it milky? After so much waiting and chasing up our waitress for our dough balls, salad refills we thought that it was just the girl getting back into the job after the strains of the pandemic but no it wasn't, we waited ages for the table to be cleared and the bill to be given and when she brought the bill she handed it to us and stood there, looking at us, i was shocked that after the waiting we had to do and the 'can't be bothered'ways she displayed she expected us to pay up immediately! The bill came to £58 and we told her to keep change, admit it wasn't much of a tip but to be honest no tip should have been given at all as one of her colleagues sorted most of our concerns out as she didn't any way she said oh ok fanks have a nice day... it was 9.20pm! Very disappointed. On 2nd note there was no loo roll in 2 of the ladies loos, no soap to wash hands and the floor was covered in loo paper in the middle and end loo, shocked it could get like that, i know it's customers making the mess and not the staff but there is a pandemic going on. On being seated when we first arrived the manager explained the safety measures in place and mentioned that the staff sanitise regular so we should feel safe etc... the loos clearly had been neglected, what a shame as this is usually a lovely place to visit.
