3/10Poor waiting time of 45mins before food. Even though we booked a table for 1pm. Not good. So we left before ordering. Perhaps invest in more staff.

6/10whist we appreciate it was very busy we had to wait a long time to place our order, a long time to get our drinks and and even longer time for our meals. our waiter did come and apologise for the delay and said our food wouldn't be much longer, but it was still a long time after. he did sagvut was normal for a Sunday, so we would have expected them to know how many staff to have to cope. he also came over and said he was going off for a break and another person would be looking after us. which was a nice touch. although, we didn't see anyone and had to go and ask someone for our bill. I did tell him that the cajun chicken piece of the trio combo was too chewy to digest. also we seemed to be in the draught, presumably from the air-conditioning.

9.5/10The service was a little slow, but we did eat at peak time. A lovely meal, more food than we could eat (not complaining about that) in fact there were no complaints about the whole evening. Our waiter treated us as if we were the only ones there, even though he was run off his feet. A charming, intelligent young man with a great sense of humor. We had no problems with submitting a Groupon Voucher and payment was made with ease. It turned out a great evening for my Sons Birthday. Thank s to all at Harvester Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne. xx

10/10THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. I WAS CONCERNED AS I DID NOT INFORM THE RESTAURANT THAT MY WIFE USES A WHEELCHAIR. HOWEVER WE WERE SEATED REALLY QUICKLY AND I WAS ABLE TO STORE THE WHEELCHAIR SAFELY. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY ENJOYABLE. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND IT TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS...

9/10The food is very good and the service is excellent. But Eastbourne's Harvester wins out in one way over other restaurants, it offers a view across Eastbourne's marina. The sight of yachts moored right outside the restaurant's balcony is magnificent. Brian Silsby, Hastings

9/10We found the restaurant very welcoming and honest about waiting times . The food was very presentable. I had a sirloin steak medium rare which unfortunately was not quite right but I managed to eat it but it was a bit disappointing.But this would not put us off coming again.

5/10we ate ate the Soveren Harbour Harvester on Sunday 5th Feb for my sons 41st birthday . Firstly I had booked in advance for us ,6 adults 3 children . The table when we arrived wasnt laid out ,the floor underneath was very very dirty .we had to take cutlery off other tables. We ordered 3 half chickens only 2 arrived as "they had run out ".My daughter in law was offered chicken brest which she accepted. . then her sons dessert shoud have had a chocolate sauce with it , but again they" had run out" . My son who is filleack ,ie cant take flour or milk there was nothing on the menu to show what he could have . we conplained and when the bill came the Manager said the`ll take 20% off the bill and wouldnt charge for my Daughter in laws meal .He then said he was going home as he had a migrain. When the bill arrived the 20% was taken of but not my Daughter in laws meal.Agin another complaint and £15 was taken of the bill . First time we have EVER had any bother with Harvester . 3/10Very weird staff, kept standing around my table watching me eat and constantly coming over to make sure my 18 year old son who has already showed his ID wasn’t drinking alcohol from my glass.

8/10Having a waitress select the salad under our instruction felt odd. Yet, tables were back to geing pretty close together. The hand sanitizer at the welcome table was the worst smelling that I've ever used, it quite put me off my food (yes I could have gone and washed them)..

+3From the moment we walked in the door and welcomed to the restaurant, we were well looked after. Very good quality of food, not a long time waiting for food,excellent waiter service, didn't get his name. Very clean restaurant. All the staff were working hard but nothing was too much for them. They are all an absolute credit to your company and we will be back again.

5/10I turned up for lunch with my partner at this restaraunt . Wush I'd gone somewhere else,NO problem with staff but the food quality was terrible !! I ordered calamari strips which had been so badly overcooked the contents of the badly burnt food was mush . I loved the sauce that went with it ,but unfortunately the Calamari was revolting !! That was returned !! Then I ordered the the steak sandwich for my main course to be cooked medium rare but it turned up burnt and tough as old boots .that went back!! I vowed many years ago not to eat in a harvester ever again I remember why now.

8/10The waiting time was short - very short although we had asked specifically to have a long break between courses.. Then our main course was brought to our table while we were still eating our starters. We were told they would keep them warm. Not acceptable - they should have made it fresh again. Also my favourite wine (Oyster Bay) and one of the reasons to choose the Harvester was not available although a stock wine on the menu.

7/10The staff were lovely, very nice waitress. The food was OK, beef brisket was almost all fat, but other meals were better. Toilets were disgraceful.

9/10The waitress who served us,Lizzie, couldn't have been better. The only item of food I wasn't keen on was the peas! Another minor criticism was I'd prefer a saucer with my cappuccino.
