10/10Lovely meal this evening at the harvester. The place is looking great after the recent refurb and some nice additions to the menu! Our waiter Louie was very friendly, efficient and took time to advise us on some of the dishes. Food came out quickly and was just what we ordered Will definitely be returning !

5.5/10Poached eggs were hard and watery. Very pleased I opted for the cooked breakfast and not the eggs benedict. Beans were cold and very unlikely the Heinz beans called out in the menu

6.5/10The staff were lovely and really friendly. This was my second time at the restaurant. The first time I had steak and wasn't really impressed, but sometimes steak can be difficult. So decided to not let it put me off and went again. This time I had chicken and there was a large red area which looked like uncooked meat. I mentioned it to the waitress who took it to the chef and was told 'chickens have veins' also that all their meals are precooked beforehand and merely warmed up on site. I was offered a free coffee. Their salad bar is amazing and their desserts are fantastic, just not keen to eat the actual main courses there again.

5/10All 4 of our dinners were served at different times, and nothing came out together. By the time my children and husband had finished their mains my dinner was still not ready. In the end, I cancelled my dinner and left hungry.

9/10On arrival we were met by a young woman who was very efficient and took us to our table, Our waitress came straight away and took our drinks order which did take some time to arrive other than that the service was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and afternoon out.

5.5/10The service was good but unfortunately there were big issues with the kitchen, we had a very long wait for our food, when it arrives one meal had stone cold vegetables and had to be returned, another was overcooked, the peppers were unrecognizable, just black shrivelled blobs, chicken was also burnt. We weren't the only table returning food, not sure what the problem with the kitchen was, it didn't even look like the restaurant was busy????

4/10Sadly the location was very untidy, our seating was not far from the toilets and all we could smell was urine from the toilets, when I arrived I went to the gents to find 2 men doing drugs in a cubical and on my return to my table the top of the table was sticky due to not being cleaned with simple hot water and soap, (you are not the only one who uses spray cleaners that just do not work) We left and went to the miller and carter down the road where we spent the best part of £90, ambiance clean and non sticky tables service with a smile and bathrooms you could have eaten your dinner in, If i was a Inspector for your company I would give this place a 0 rating. We have decided as a family not to use any Harvester again, sad I know but this was NOT nice,

10/10Went to the Harvester in Basingstoke yesterday with my family. Firstly I must say that this restaurant has gone from strength to strength. I always used to be so poor in there and lots of people I know stopped going. It is now up there with the rest of the restaurants in Basingstoke (except, of course, Miller and Carter which is completely out of my budget. I realise food has increased but will say that the prices in Harvester have risen really sharply and it is really over the top for pricing but saying that the food was completely edible except the Garlic Bread. It was a lump of dough about 2 inches thick with a minute bit of garlic (which you could not taste} on top. This got left completely so a total waste of money in my opinion. Other than that food great. Would go again. For 5 of us including 2 children and with drinks the bill was £113+ which I thought was very expensive.

10/10The restaurant is great. Excellent menu, very pleasant staff, good price and given the salad bar back is so welcomed. Parking is decent around the back. Overall very good and I’ll be back for sure.

10/10Excellent service and the food was great. Joshia was very pleasant and did a great job. And hats off to the chef (and team) great food. Good to see the salad bar back in our hands but fully accept that Covid upset that for a while. Good job all!

6.5/10decor improved greatly but food quality is still not as good as other Harvesters, the bread roll was like a brick and the Halloumi batter was swimming in oil . I left the chips as they were too salty . Clean inside though and the salad was fresh and tasty even though I couldn't serve myself.

5.5/10We have used this restaurant many times before but this time was different sadly the wait was rather long seeing that it was not that busy and my meal was not up to expectations it was over cooked and soggy and tasteless however the sweet was nice and well presented
